Chapter 51: A lonely battle in Rapid City

"What's going on?" After flying for half a day, Kaslo clearly saw the group of orcs camping underground from high altitude. Instead of marching quickly while it was still light, they camped on the west bank of the Hongshui River.

"Could it be the migration of a large tribe?" Caslo was afraid that he and his companions were too neurotic and would mistake the migration of the orcs in the wasteland for a sneak attack.

"No! This is an army! There are no old or young orcs!" Kaslo asked Cardo to lower his head a little and hide in the clouds to observe. After all, the air knights who mainly fought in the air had absolutely top-notch eyesight and with the release of the Dragon Eyes skill, Kaslo could even see the totems on the orcs on the ground from a thousand meters in the air.

"What are they waiting for?" Caslo decided to go back and tell Roland the news first. After all, these orcs would not be able to reach the vicinity of the City of Swiftwater for a while.

"What? They've camped by the river?" Roland asked in surprise. Given the orcs' brainless nature, shouldn't they have swarmed over here?

"Maybe they are staying there waiting for the orcs from other places to join forces to attack! For example, Gundabad and Dol Guldur!" Renault stood up.

"Think about it, what would happen if an army of orcs appeared behind us while we were fighting bravely in the front? Even if they were just orcs from the wasteland holding bone sticks and wooden clubs!" Renault continued.

A chill ran down everyone's spine... If something like that really happened, the entire alliance's defenses would collapse like dominoes.

"We need to discuss with the allies in Los Saint Niel City how to deal with them." Kaslo thought for a while.

"No! We don't need to discuss! Gather all the soldiers!" Roland said coldly, waving his hand and walking out of the tent.

"Looks like you're in trouble!" Peter Gro landed in the city on a dragon. This was the first time Roland had carefully observed a giant dragon.

The 30-meter-long Star Dragon's body was covered in deep blue scales, shimmering with starlight. The scales on its abdomen were milky white, and its claws, as sharp as sapphires, shone with a cold gleam. Its dark eyes, a single golden pupil, shone brightly. But this dragon wore no armor, only a saddle? Bad review! Kaslo's flying dragons all wore full-body armor, which showed that the Singari Kingdom was indeed poor, otherwise they wouldn't allow their dragons to run naked.

You have to know that dragon knights are one of the most powerful forces in a faction, so it's no pity to pile all kinds of resources on them. The dragon knights of the Lagran Empire are not only lavishly equipped themselves, but even the equipment of their dragons is equally luxurious. Looking at the naked dragon knights, Roland could only sigh: How poor! They don't even have money to armor their dragons...

"Knight Peter? What are you doing here?" Roland asked doubtfully, because the city of Losenniel was under constant threat of war from Dolgoldo, and Roland did not intend to ask them for help in the war in the east. After all, although there were tens of thousands of Orcs in the wasteland, their quality... Except for sneak attacks from behind, Roland's soldiers could easily crush them in frontal combat.

"I came to see if you need any help. It seems that you are planning to take action against the orcs in the wasteland in the east?" Peter Gro looked at the tensely assembled army.

"That's right! We can't wait for them to come to us." Roland smiled.

"Well, after all, it's better for us to have the initiative. Although the city of Losenniel and the king cannot support your army, I can obey your command." Peter Gro said humbly. He brought the goodwill and support of the two kings.

"No, no, no. Losenniel City needs high-end combat forces to be stationed there! If the orcs from Dolgold suddenly attack, we don't know if they have any other cards up their sleeves. Leaving you here is the best option." Roland denied.

"But your soldiers are few!"

"But we are fearless!" Roland looked calmly into the dragon knight's eyes.

"Okay... I will convey your will to the two kings!" Peter Gro saw calmness and fearlessness in Roland's eyes.

"Good luck to you." Peter Gro performed a knight's salute and then jumped onto the dragon. The Star Dragon spread its wings and flew into the sky.

"Sir, there's a huge disparity in our strength in this battle!" Caslo quietly came behind Roland.

"But we have no choice... We are attacked from all sides, and our forces are stretched thin... We can't block it! The city of Lorcelainniel cannot be lost! The orcs from the north and south must not meet up! We are not lucky enough to repeat the Battle of Lonely Mountain." Roland calmly watched the soldiers who gathered and marched out of the city.

"Sir! All 1047 people have gathered! Except for Ranger El Nino, everyone else, including the grassland elves' soldiers, are here," Carlos said to Roland.

"Well, let the Knights set off first!" Roland turned and said to Renault.

"Sir Radil, the City of Rapids is now handed over to you! Please organize some young and strong men to keep watch. If we don't come back..." Roland didn't continue.

"May the Dragon God protect you...my king." Ivy leaned over and whispered.

"Yeah." Roland forced a smile.

"Are we really going up like this?" Van Erwei said in disbelief.

"Why? The brave and warlike grassland elves are actually afraid of fighting?" Roland asked curiously.

"No, no, no, I just want to ask, are we just going to jump in like this?" Van Erwei always felt something was wrong.

"When the gap in numbers is too great, all tactics are useless." Roland gazed calmly ahead.

"But I found out that we only have three days' worth of food! What are we going to do when we get back?" Van Erwei said frantically, meaning that they would have no food left after eating all the food in the next three days.

"Three days? That's enough! We can get there in three days at most if we travel light! If we defeat them, Kaslo will bring us enough food. If we fail... there's no need to worry about coming back." Roland didn't care.

"Damn it...what you said makes so much sense!" Vanerwei vented his anger. He felt that the tragic fate of the grassland elves was unfair. He had just escaped from there with his people, but he didn't expect to bring them back to the battlefield so soon.

"Save your energy..." Roland sighed softly. He had just noticed that the equipment of this group of grassland elves was in very poor condition. Although they had been properly maintained, the workmanship and materials were obviously inferior to those of other elves.

"For our homeland! We have nothing to fear!" Roland said firmly in his heart.

"What! A group of grassland elves ran away after discovering us?" Onavel, the orc king of the wasteland, roared. These incompetent rubbish under his command actually only reported it now.

"They've been gone for a few days!" Onaville said angrily.

"At least five sunsets... My king..." The orc kneeling on the ground trembled.

"Roar!" Onaville angrily swung the hammer in his hand and smashed the spy's head, and dark green and white things splattered all over the ground.

"Damn grassland elves! Incompetent trash!" Onaville said furiously.

"Pass my order! Move the camp to the foot of Lonely Mountain!" Onavel said angrily.

"The dwarves of Lonely Mountain may have received the news. We can't wait for Azog and Bolg any longer." Onavel decided to lead the army alone, at least to catch the Lonely Mountain coalition forces off guard.

"Let's go! Roar!" Ounaville roared while riding on his wolf.
