Chapter 88: The first level six professional

"Slurp, slurp!" Roland, who was counting his harvest, felt as happy as if he had drunk some cold water in the hottest days of summer.

"500 Badanian archers? Are they starting to make me farm and guard the house?" Roland pondered. After all, the archer profession is mostly a defensive type of soldier. The thin defense makes them full of passive offensiveness. Even the heavily armored Badanian archers are no exception. After all, the archers' main battlefield is on the city walls and fortresses, and both knights and torrent infantry are purely offensive types of soldiers. The plains are the best terrain for them to exert their combat effectiveness. No one should let the knights give up the charge and stand still to output, and no one should let the torrent infantry form a torrent army formation to defend, right?

"Not bad, at least it replenishes the long-range professionals I urgently need..." Roland thought about it and immediately felt that it was a good idea.

"1,000 civilians is great. The population base can finally be increased." Roland turned his attention to the population reward.

"Dragon Slayers! 30 of them! Not bad!" Roland was very satisfied. El Nino Ranger's deterrent power in small-scale warfare was strategic. A squad of 10 was enough to give the enemy a headache. It looked like he had all the options for making things worse. After all, El Nino Ranger's arms were incredibly long! How could a Ranger who could slay dragons with a longbow have a short range?

"Thank God! System, you finally gave me food... I finally don't have to borrow food anymore..." Roland was instantly overwhelmed with emotion when he thought about how his own forces couldn't even handle basic logistics.

"That's not right! Based on the consumption of one pound of flour per person per day, it can only last for a month at most..." Roland calculated and realized that this amount of food could only solve the immediate problem.

"Forget it, let's wait and see. Let me see what comes down..."

"50 oxen? Great stuff!" Roland immediately gave them a useful definition. Next spring, the grain bag of the Kingdom of Lagrande will depend on them.

"Chicken farm: 10 acres, can raise tens of thousands of high-quality chickens, but raising chickens is a magical beast!" Roland cast his eyes on the chicken farm and his face suddenly darkened... What the hell is this?! Cows and chickens...

"Magic Plantation: Covering an area of 5 acres, it can cultivate various magical herbs!"

"This is quite strong! You know, the difference between having taken a magic potion and not taking one is completely different. Anything that can grow magic potions is a good thing!" Roland licked his lips. He had already begun to imagine the days of drinking all kinds of potions as if they were water, punching dragons and stepping on chimeras.

"Another ten El Nino Rangers? Now we've got a full 50-man team! If I'd had El Nino Ranger in this battle... well, the casualties would have been at least half!" Roland sighed. Besides his signature ability, the Falling Dragon Arrow, El Nino Ranger also possesses the special title of "Crazy 3 Seconds." With this array of skills, a fully-powered El Nino Ranger can empty a quiver of 30 arrows in just three seconds and deliver them precisely into your vital points! It's the perfect choice for striking the enemy vanguard or stopping a cavalry charge!

"Priests from the Dragon God Temple? Those Reverend Mothers?" Roland was overwhelmed. Were the Dragon God Temple priests awesome? Awesome! Were they strong? Strong! But were they any use? No! They were complete pacifists. They were fine against orcs, but if they were to engage in a civil war with humans or other allied races... forget it. They wouldn't be able to attack, and at best, they'd buff their own people.

Never mind, just bear with it. I can stay home and heal the sick and save lives. That's the bread and butter of a Dragon God Temple priest. Not only are they incredibly skilled in combat, but their healing abilities are absolutely top-notch! Generally, only a high priest of at least 5th rank can master this incredible magic, but within the Dragon God Temple, many 3rd rank Temple Guard priests can perform resurrection… So, in the past, lords would often recruit a Temple Priest who could resurrect them to revive them in battle.

The limitations of resurrection magic are actually quite large. Ivy under Roland's command knows resurrection magic, but the deceased cannot have been dead for more than 72 hours when the spell is cast, and one cast of the spell will make her weak for nearly 10 years. Roland saved this precious resurrection spell slot for himself to save his life, so that if he dies, Ivy can bring him back once.

"Ring of Mercy?" Roland glanced at the emerald green ring before casually slipping it onto his hand and binding it. As the second ring of the Knight's ninth-tier ring, it amplified the Knight's skill, Mercy! (Its abilities are described in the previous chapter.)

"The last one is actually an achievement reward? How long has it been since this stingy system gave out something like this?" Roland asked in surprise.

"Holy crap! Sage... this is—Level 6!" Roland's eyes widened. What the hell was going on? They'd actually give it to a Level 6 professional? It might be a support class, but this thing was a bona fide Level 6 professional! With the Sage, Roland's magic plantation could open. Every alchemist was a qualified magical plant grower, and the Sage, as the top of the pack, could concoct almost any potion, provided they had enough ingredients!

"System, check the territory of Jiliu City!" Roland wanted to see his current development situation.

Commentary: The lonely king led his remaining people back to their homeland and founded this towering walled city. The city's inhabitants are sparse, but everything is progressing well. The city's military is strong and capable of defending it, but it cannot withstand the burgeoning darkness alone. The good news is that the city has finally welcomed its own defense officer and government official. Note: The war is over! The shattered kingdom needs rest and recuperation!

Abilities: As the only territory of the Kingdom of Lagrang in Middle-earth, it attracts the remnants of Lagrang. The system will guide a wave of wandering Lagrang civilians to arrive every day, hoping that the lord can properly accommodate them.

Allows the recruitment of local civilians to train Flood Infantry.

"Sure enough! The Swiftstream Infantry suffered heavy casualties!" Roland's heart was bleeding. At least 300 Swiftstream Infantrymen had died in this battle...
