Chapter 331: Bright Light Buddha Girl
The Buddhist girl also comes to eat vegetarian food?
The sun had just risen from the distant hills, casting golden rays through the white clouds and dotted onto the dining table outside the kitchen.
Ruyi, Takeda Saburo, and Akechi Mitsuhide sat upright, but they couldn't help but look at Aoandon who was picking up vegetarian dishes with chopsticks.
In the past, the Buddhist girl had come to live in Weilian Ancient Temple many times, but apart from eating some snacks to try the new things, she never had the habit of eating vegetarian meals, let alone sitting at the same table with them.
But this time, after returning from Mount Fuji, the Buddhist woman's temperament changed drastically. She even ate vegetarian meals with relish and even gave a positive review of the vegetarian buns mixed with shiitake mushrooms and dried bamboo shoots.
"Eat in peace."
Iori Fubuki, who had not returned yet, tapped the table gently to bring Akechi Mitsuhide and others back to their senses. She sat next to Aoandon, sometimes teaching her how to use chopsticks correctly, and sometimes chatting with her.
As for Pinggong Qianye... eating is a very important thing. Don't talk while eating and don't talk while sleeping. The words of the ancients often embody the wisdom of life.
Therefore, when eating, you should concentrate on eating. Thinking about messy things is the greatest disrespect to food.
Moreover, there is practice everywhere in Buddhism. Silence on talking while eating is also a form of practice.
The rules for dining in Weilian Ancient Temple are much simpler than those in larger temples.
In the past, people had to hit the board three times before going to the dining hall to eat, which was called "Santong".
The first call was to inform the monks to prepare for dinner;
In the second session, the monks put on their robes and came to the dining hall;
The third call, wait in line and welcome the great monk.
Pinggong Qianye didn't think these rules were bad habits. The reason why Weilian Ancient Temple didn't do so was purely because there were very few monks in the temple and there was no need to be so particular about it.
“So this is what vegetarian food tastes like.”
Qing Xingdeng tasted the first vegetarian meal in Weilian Ancient Temple, his eyes shining slightly.
Before she knew it, she had become the person who ate the most among those present, except for Pinggong Chiye.
Besides, she wasn't completely full yet.
"The vegetarian food here is very good, right? Master Ruyi is a great chef!" Iori Fubuki said with a smile.
Aoandon slowly put down the chopsticks in his hand, put his bowl and chopsticks in order, nodded slightly, and agreed with Iori Fubuki's statement.
After all, it was her first time to eat vegetarian food, and she couldn’t tell whether it was delicious or not.
But judging from the way Master Liansheng ate, the vegetarian food here must be cooked very well.
"Let me take you around the temple."
"it is good."
Aoandon did not refuse Iori Fubuki's invitation. Although she had been here before in her memory, it was still a little vague.
Only by truly experiencing it can those memories truly belong to her.
After Qingxuande left, Akechi Mitsuhide and others came up to Heimiya Chiye.
"Master Liansheng, something is clearly wrong with the Buddha girl!"
"He is totally different from before."
"This Buddhist lady always feels a bit out of reach. The previous Buddhist lady is easier to get along with."
Akechi Mitsuhide is the one who has the most say on this issue, as he is the one who has the most contact with Aoandon.
The Buddhist girl before seemed to have a bad temper and was very violent, but she was easy to get along with, had no airs, and was even a little simple and cute.
But this Buddhist girl, her every word and action, was like an ice lotus on a snowy mountain, forming a sharp contrast of ice and fire with the original Buddhist girl.
"Ruyi, if you can add some vermicelli and chopped black fungus into the vegetarian buns in the future, the taste will be richer."
Pinggong Qianye's words startled Ruyi for a moment. He nodded subconsciously and said, "I'll try next time."
At this time, Ping Gong Qianye looked at Akechi Mitsuhide and others with a serious expression, "People and things cannot remain unchanged. New changes will appear sooner or later."
Akechi Mitsuhide thought for a while and said happily: "This means that the Buddhist woman from the past may still come back?" "Did I say that?"
Pinggong Qianye slowly stood up. After finishing his vegetarian meal, it was time for him to go to the main hall to recite some Buddhist scriptures.
Soon, Aoandon also arrived, but Iori Fubuki did not follow her. She came to the hall alone.
She naturally lit the incense, put her hands together in front of her chest, and worshiped the Buddha.
Her movements were graceful, neither hurried nor slow, just like her heart, which was as calm and clear as still water.
"I was born from the light of light, so I should be called Light. Is this name too vulgar, Buddha Girl of Light?"
After worshiping the Buddha, Qingxingdeng naturally inserted the incense into the incense burner in front of the Buddha.
"Perhaps you could change the order a bit and use Mingguang as the sign."
"Mingguang Buddha Girl, it does sound more elegant than Guangming Buddha Girl."
Qing Xingdeng nodded, and seemed very satisfied with the new title. "With the words of Master Liansheng, I will be the Mingguang Buddha Girl of Buddhism from now on."
"Are you really determined to give up the past and join my Buddhist sect?"
"To save the demon and become a Buddha is a great merit for every monk and an achievement worth boasting about. Master Liansheng seems to have a different opinion on this?"
"Buddhism is for the benefit of all sentient beings. All sentient beings can enter Buddhism. For monks, this is naturally a happy thing to see."
"Master Liansheng used the light of light to reshape my body and offered me to the Buddha. Didn't he have the intention to lead me to Buddhahood?"
"Have."
"Then why has Master Liansheng become hesitant now?"
Qing Xingdeng's eyes were bright and clear, staring straight into Pinggong Qianye's eyes, wanting to hear his answer.
"I'm not hesitant, I just have doubts about your current state."
"Oh, am I different in some way?"
"Physical integrity does not represent spiritual integrity."
Qing Xingdeng smiled and said, "Master Liansheng, you can enter my spiritual world and see if I have schizophrenia. How about that?"
Pinggong Qianye did not say anything. Even if he could enter Qingxuande's spiritual world, he would not be able to detect whether Qingxuande suffered from schizophrenia. Otherwise, he could have become a psychiatrist long ago.
“A new beginning in life does not necessarily mean a complete inheritance of the past.”
Qing Xingdeng said with a smile: "I am now very sure that I have a connection with Buddha, with lotus, and with Master Liansheng."
Pinggong Qianye couldn't find any fault with Qingxuande's words, but he still had doubts about the disappearance of Qingxuande's previous personality.
Nothing disappears without reason, just as some matter seems to disappear without a trace, it simply exists in another form.
"If Master Liansheng is free, can you tell me about Buddhism?"
"Buddhism is profound and mysterious. Which aspect are you interested in?"
“Can you tell me about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s great vows?”
"The great vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva cannot be learned by ordinary people."
"I'm just listening."
Pinggong Chiye would naturally satisfy Qingxuande's request.
Only after all sentient beings have been saved can one attain Bodhi; I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty.
The great vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva can be summarized in these two sentences. Logically speaking, Qingxingdeng should understand the content in this regard.
Pinggong Qianye glanced at Qingxuande and found that she just wanted him to tell it again.
