Chapter 6: Sun Wukong spreads his teachings and creates an incarnation

“There are plenty of ideas, it just depends on whether you dare to do it and if you have the ability to do it!”

Sun Wukong's eyes darted around when he heard that, and he chuckled.

“Just tell me first.”

Tang Sen's eyes lit up immediately when he saw that the little monkey really had a way, and he asked with a face full of anticipation.

“Do you see the incense around you?”

“You can try to use this incense to cultivate an Incarnation to preside over Tiger Temple Village.”

“Normally, it would absorb the villagers' incense to nurture the Incarnation, and once demons invade the village, you can use the power of the incense to control the Incarnation and use divine abilities to subdue the demons. How about that?”

After listening to Sun Wukong, Tang Sen couldn't help but frown: “Wouldn't that make me the local God of the village?”

“What's the difference between this and the evil cults of Huasheng Temple?”

Sun Wukong, upon hearing this, shook his head in disagreement: “Protecting the common people is to be a guardian God. Those people are evil Gods who only take and do not give back. If you do not act like them, but instead use the people's incense to nurture an Incarnation while also protecting the peace of the people, allowing them to live in peace and contentment, wouldn't that be enough?”

After listening to Sun Wukong, Tang Sen inexplicably felt it made a lot of sense, but soon he was a bit troubled: “But the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Skill I'm cultivating now can only strengthen my body, kill enemies, and eliminate demons; it can't absorb this incense!”

He had tried to absorb incense with the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Skill given by the system before, but unfortunately, the Mysterious Skill in his body showed no reaction at all, and even seemed to subtly repel the incense.

“Nine Revolutions Mysterious Skill?”

Sun Wukong secretly noted the name, but on his face, he smiled and said: “I do know a miraculous divine ability that uses incense to cultivate an Incarnation. I can try to teach it to you, but I'm afraid you might find it difficult to learn it quickly!”

“Monkey, you even know this?”

Tang Sen, with a look of pleasant surprise, took a golden glowing ancient book from the monkey's hand. On it were nine large characters: “Great Freedom Transformation.”

Tang Sen didn't ask where the monkey conjured this thing from.

After all, this is a world of Gods and Buddhas, who doesn't have some divine abilities and means!

After spending the past day or two together, Tang Sen felt that this monkey in front of him was definitely not a simple character, and it was not surprising that he could conjure one or two things.

“Alright, you read it!”

“I'm going to sleep!”

Sun Wukong smiled as he saw Tang Sen quickly immerse himself in studying. He lazily stretched, found a corner, lay down comfortably, and went to sleep.

To be honest, he didn't have much expectation that Tang Sen could cultivate this skill.

Because this skill was actually a cultivation method he had created himself by combining his own Incarnation divine ability with the Buddhist teachings he had learned over the years.

The prerequisite for learning this skill was to master his own Incarnation.

But his Incarnation was a naturally endowed divine ability, and he dared to say that throughout the Three Realms, if his Incarnation technique was second, no one would dare to claim first.

Otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to survive five hundred years under the pursuit of the Buddhist sect relying on this one divine ability.

His divine ability was not something anyone could learn just by wanting to.

Time quietly slipped away.

In a blink of an eye, a night passed.

Early the next morning, Sun Wukong slowly woke up, yawned, and immediately did a carp jump, springing up from the ground.

“Morning!”

Tang Sen, who was making a fire and cooking in the distance, immediately greeted Sun Wukong with a smile when he saw him wake up.

Yesterday's tiger demon was huge, and he and Sun Wukong only ate half of it, leaving the other half to be eaten for breakfast.

“How is it?”

“The miraculous divine ability I gave you, have you mastered it?”

Sun Wukong asked with a smile.

“I've somewhat grasped a knack, but I wouldn't dare say I've mastered it!”

A voice sounded from behind, startling Sun Wukong.

He quickly turned his head to look and found that another Tang Sen was behind him, carrying a bundle of firewood, walking in from outside.

“Good heavens!”

“Is this the Incarnation you created with incense?”

“I didn't notice anything amiss at all!”

Sun Wukong's eyes widened, his face full of disbelief.

“That's right, he's Number One, and I'm Number Two!”

The Tang Sen who was making a fire behind him said with a smile.

“And me, Number Three!”

Another Tang Sen walked out from the inner room, carrying a jar.

Sun Wukong's mouth was wide enough to fit an egg.

“Sigh… Monkey, this Incarnation technique you gave me is too difficult. I practiced all night, and I can only control a maximum of three Incarnations at a time. Any more and it doesn't work; I feel like my brain isn't enough.”

Another Tang Sen jumped down from the large tree in the courtyard, lightly snapped his fingers, and instantly the Tang Sens who were making a fire, picking up firewood, and carrying wine jars all vanished without a trace.

Tang Sen reached out and caught the suspended wine jar, opened the stopper, and sniffed it, his face full of joy: “It's wine! Not bad, not bad. We have wine and meat this morning, everything's ready.”

“Hmm?”

Tang Sen was full of joy, wanting to ask the monkey if he drank alcohol, but when he turned his face, he found that the monkey's expression had suddenly become extremely ferocious, staring fixedly at him as if he had seen a ghost.

“Monkey, what's wrong?”

“Are you having another episode?”

Tang Sen quickly put down the wine jar and asked with a worried expression.

This monkey had been Crazy on the mountain before, so this must be another fit of madness.

“Hahahaha!”

Sun Wukong suddenly burst into laughter, looking up at the sky. As he laughed, tears welled up in the corners of his eyes.

“Damn heavens, I've fought with you for a thousand years, and now I finally see a glimmer of hope!”

“You just wait for me, hahahaha!”

“Uh…!”

Tang Sen scratched the back of his head, looking at the monkey who was crying and laughing in front of him with a puzzled expression.

“Monk, let's go. While the villagers are still asleep, I'll take you somewhere.”

Suddenly, Sun Wukong abruptly stopped laughing and, with an eager expression, pulled Tang Sen and ran out.

Tang Sen was confused, and Sun Wukong dragged him all the way to the entrance of Tiger Temple Village.

There was a small temple enveloped in incense, and enshrined within it was a majestic-looking Arhat sitting on a striped tiger.

“This is the clay sculpture of Subduing Tiger Arhat, one of the eighteen Arhats of Buddhism!”

“He is also the true backer behind Huasheng Temple, and the incense in Tiger Temple Village should have been collected by him.”

“If you want to change the current situation of Tiger Temple Village, then move his statue out and let your Incarnation move in, becoming the true guardian God of Tiger Temple Village.”

“This way, no matter where you go, as long as demons invade Tiger Temple Village, you will be able to sense it and use the incense to control your Incarnation and slay them.”

“However, you must think carefully. Subduing Tiger Arhat has considerable power within Buddhism. If you move his statue, it will create karma with him, and this matter may not end well in the future.”

“Heh!”

“I, the reincarnation of Golden Cicada, a good person who has cultivated for ten lifetimes, the second disciple of the Buddha, and the future Tathagata Buddha of Sandalwood Merit, am I afraid of him?”

Tang Sen scoffed, and without hesitation, he stepped forward and lifted the clay sculpture of Subduing Tiger Arhat out of the small temple, smashing it heavily to the ground.
