Outside Goose City, a brief skirmish between the two sides concluded.
Whether it was Huang Silang or Zhang Mazi, both of them knew in their hearts that the person opposite was by no means an easy opponent!
Upon entering the city, the camera even gave a close-up of Zhang Mazi's wanted poster on the city wall.
The man in the portrait had a face full of pockmarks, and his appearance was quite comical.
Does being called Zhang Mazi mean he has to have pockmarks?
This rather ironic scene made people unable to help but laugh.
After Zhang Mazi entered the city, he used cunning tactics, putting the bodies from the train into bandit clothes and publicly executing them to establish his authority; this strategy was truly unfathomable.
Seeing this, Tang the Advisor immediately shouted passionately to the people of Goose City: "The County Magistrate is here, Goose City is peaceful! The County Magistrate is here, there will be justice!"
Zhang Mazi embraced the Advisor, laughing, and said, "The Advisor speaks wonderfully. I've always said that sometimes dead people are more useful than living ones."
As he spoke, Zhang Mazi seemed to sense something, suddenly turned his head, frowned, and pointed a hand in a direction, as if declaring from afar: "I see you!"
At that moment, Huang Silang, who was observing from the rooftop with a telescope, couldn't help but be startled, and coldly snorted, "Overbearing aura—seeking death!"
It must be said that in this segment, both Zhang Mazi, played by Jiang Wen, and Huang Silang, played by Fa Ge, left an extremely profound impression on everyone!
As for their acting? Is there anything more to say?
The scene shifted to Huang Silang's side, where he was meticulously training a body double.
Being in a high position, one always needs to leave themselves a path for survival.
During the training process, the lines: "Walk with a vigorous stride, walk a thousand li in a day, walk as if a lifetime has passed," made the audience burst into laughter; this big villain actually had such a humorous side.
The body double was indeed "diligent and responsible," learning too well, which instead made Huang Silang impatient, causing him to directly lose his temper and pull out the body double's teeth.
Immediately after, the plot moved to a section unsuitable for children.
Zhang Mazi touched his wife's conscience, solemnly promising not to offend her, and his wife's line, "One day as husband and wife, a hundred days of grace," instantly made the atmosphere ambiguous, leading to wild imaginations.
When his wife pulled out items left by her previous husbands, the audience laughed even harder, especially those watching with their girlfriends, who were red-faced from holding back laughter.
Audience: So this is what Su Yu is like! This time, the screenwriter finally exposed you, didn't he?
Just as everyone was eagerly anticipating Zhang Mazi's actions, the scene suddenly shifted, and he actually got into Tang the Advisor's bed?
Such a surprising development made people drop their jaws, unable to help but exclaim: "Zhang Mazi, are you even a man?!"
Tang the Advisor was even more internally distraught, shouting, "Why are you here? I'm a man!"
After a while, Tang the Advisor tried to find a topic to break the awkwardness, so he said, "The common people are all poor devils now; there's no more fat to squeeze."
"I've never thought about taking money from poor devils," Zhang Mazi responded decisively.
"If not from the poor devils, then from whom?" Tang the Advisor asked, frowning.
Then, he began to impart his method of making money: "After getting the money, the gentry's money will be returned in full, and the common people's money will be split three-seven."
The media people and film critics in the premiere hall instantly and keenly realized that these lines were bold, biting, and full of satire.
Yet, they found it incredibly satisfying to watch, thinking that this movie was probably going to be a hit again.
Zhang Mazi was full of doubt, not understanding why he, who did the most work, could only take seventy percent.
Tang the Advisor explained helplessly: "You take thirty percent, and you still have to look at Huang Silang's face."
"I'm the County Magistrate; could it be that I have to beg for food on my knees?" Zhang Mazi looked astonished.
"Making money, it's not shameful," Tang the Advisor contributed another classic line.
While the line made the audience burst into laughter, they also felt an indescribable emotion in their hearts.
Because what it reflected, wasn't it a bit too deep?
How did this movie even pass censorship!?
Zhang Mazi, upon hearing this, responded with great ambition: "I want to stand and still earn the money!"
As soon as these words were spoken, the audience felt their blood boil. Earning money while standing, in any era, always exuded dominance.
Didn't it instantly ignite them?
As the plot progressed, Wu Juren beat someone in the street, was brought to the yamen, and arrogantly pulled out his Wu Juren identity, telling Zhang Mazi to kneel to him.
However, the moment Zhang Mazi slammed the table and pulled out his gun, Wu Juren immediately knelt down in fear.
The onlookers, seeing the new County Magistrate punish Huang Silang's lackey, all ran over and knelt, shouting, "Lord Qing Tian."
These common people had identical appearances, wearing only pants, bare-chested, and with very similar hairstyles, looking as if the film crew was short on funds and couldn't afford clothes for the extras.
However, keen film critics saw deeper meaning in it!
This was clearly hinting that the people of Goose City had been assimilated into slaves; they no longer had their own thoughts! That's why they looked identical!
This scene was truly full of satirical metaphors.
Of course, there are too many metaphors in this movie.
It just depends on how many the audience can discover!
Zhang Mazi was not happy about this; instead, he fired a shot into the sky and shouted loudly, "Get up, don't kneel! The Emperor is gone, no one is worth your kneeling, and neither am I!"
However, the common people remained kneeling, and it was clear that changing the assimilated people would be a long and arduous task.
The scene shifted to Huang Silang's side, listening to Wu Juren's tearful complaints.
"This isn't hitting my butt; this is clearly hitting your face!"
This made Huang Silang furious. He ordered, "Go fetch that noodle seller for me."
He was going to fight Zhang Mazi.
On the other side, Zhang Mazi and Six staged a touching scene.
Six was Zhang Mazi's adopted son, who thought being a County Magistrate was impressive and wanted to be one too.
Zhang Mazi, however, earnestly stated that Six could not be a County Magistrate or a bandit; he had to study to have a future.
This part of the plot made the audience ponder deeply.
Zhang Mazi was definitely a person with ideals and thoughts, not just a surface-level bandit.
And only after studying, gaining knowledge, and broadening one's horizons can a person clarify their goals and understand what they truly want.
Huang Silang made his move.
A highly sensationalized shout, "County Magistrate's son, breaking the law, Tea Hall, welcome," instantly drew the common people to watch.
Six and Hu Wan confronted each other in the Tea Hall. Hu Wan falsely accused Six of eating two bowls of noodles but only paying for one, and the noodle seller also joined in the commotion.
Wu Juren also stirred things up, continuously escalating the matter.
Six was cornered, fuming with anger, wishing he could beat Hu Wan immediately.
The noodle seller, under Hu Wan's threat, insisted that Six had eaten two bowls.
The audience watched indignantly, and Six was even more enraged, pulling out his gun then putting it back.
Hu Wan, however, was relentless, continuing to verbally attack Six.
Six was completely provoked and actually cut open his own stomach with a knife, declaring that if there were two bowls of noodles in his stomach, he would have died in vain.
The audience was instantly dumbfounded, but Hu Wan was secretly pleased; his goal was to destroy Zhang Mazi's credibility.
You want fairness? Then let's start with fairness for your people!
Wu Juren was still fanning the flames, telling Six to make a horizontal cut so everyone could clearly see the amount of jelly noodles.
Six, played by Sun Daqiang, delivered an explosive performance. His face was pale, his muscles twitched continuously, and he used all his strength to cut and retrieve the noodles.
But when they saw Six actually turn the knife on himself, the common people scattered like birds, because they were only there to watch the spectacle; no one cared about the truth!
Hu Wan wiped the corner of his eye, unsure if those were crocodile tears or if he saw his former self.
Six held up the noodles, asking Hu Wan to fulfill his promise, but Hu Wan admitted that Six had been tricked.
Just then, Zhang Mazi arrived in time, and in a fit of rage, shot Hu Wan in the ear.
Seeing Six's tragic state, he truly wanted to kill Hu Wan!
But he was stopped by Tang the Advisor: "If you kill him, Six will have died in vain!"
Hu Wan, still shaken, began to quibble.
Tang the Advisor then persuaded Zhang Mazi: "Huang Silang is just waiting to see you defeated! If you kill him, you lose. If you don't kill him, there's still a chance to win. You must let him go! This is called killing the person to punish the heart! Killing the person to punish the heart!"
The dying Six also tried to persuade Zhang Mazi.
This scene brought tears to countless audience members' eyes.
And Sun Daqiang's brilliant acting in this segment also impressed many, as everyone witnessed his growth.
Six had originally gone to buy noodles out of kindness, to support the seller's business.
But Huang Silang exploited Six's kindness! And the noodle seller's cowardice and apathy!
This tragedy, in fact, was unsolvable!
The moment Six's good intentions emerged, the tragic ending was already sealed.
The scene shifted, and Hu Wan returned to report to Huang Silang.
Huang Silang inquired about the jelly noodles and Six's situation. Upon learning that Six was dead, he asked Hu Wan if he had revealed his name.
Hu Wan said he used Huang Silang's name to scare people.
Huang Silang, however, didn't take Zhang Mazi and his group seriously at all.
At Six's grave, everyone offered flowers in farewell.
Old Three was extremely displeased that Zhang Mazi didn't kill Hu Wan, looking at Tang the Advisor with fierce eyes.
But Zhang Mazi, relying on his prestige, suppressed the commotion.
Huang Silang invited Zhang Mazi to a banquet. Zhang Mazi also wanted to use this opportunity to gauge Huang Silang's true intentions; Six's death had put him in direct conflict with Huang Silang.
Zhang Mazi used whistles to deploy his actions. This "encrypted" whistling left Tang the Advisor confused, but the audience found it very cool.
At the Feast at Hong Gate, the conversation between the three was full of hidden meanings and profound. Though the audience didn't quite understand everything, they watched with great interest and found it incredibly satisfying.
Zhang Mazi stated that he wanted to earn money from the rich, while Huang Silang said he had a way to make money, which was to have Zhang Mazi suppress bandits, essentially having him suppress himself. This idea was truly extraordinary.
Huang Silang stated that he would provide the money, and the two major families would follow suit.
Tang the Advisor immediately fawningly said that Huang Silang's money would be returned in full.
Zhang Mazi, however, refused: "One million eight hundred thousand, no need to return! Isn't it just suppressing bandits? Suppress! We'll get the money Zhang Mazi robbed back and return it to Huang Silang. By then, this 1.8 million will be a drop in the ocean; will you still care? Isn't it just a small Zhang Mazi? Deal with him!"
He spoke as if he almost believed it himself.
Huang Silang gave Zhang Mazi a thumbs up: "Tough!"
"Tough?" Zhang Mazi asked with a smile.
"Very tough!" Huang Silang's expression was exaggerated, his mouth almost reaching his ears.
"Whether it's tough or not, we'll talk about it later! This Zhang Mazi is too arrogant!" Zhang Mazi, acting out, gnashed his teeth, "How dare he bully Brother Huang."
As he spoke, he pointed at Huang Silang and shouted sternly, "Absolutely unacceptable!"
Tang the Advisor only wanted to seize the opportunity to make more money and didn't want to directly confront Huang Silang, so he quickly brought up money, saying to split it three-seven according to the old rules.
Zhang Mazi feigned ignorance and loudly scolded, "You're too disloyal! Huang Silang worked so hard, and he only gets thirty percent? At least it should be fifty-fifty!"
Huang Silang narrowed his eyes, his face full of smiles but hiding murderous intent, and retorted, "Why should I believe you can suppress Zhang Mazi?"
Zhang Mazi cupped his hands and asked, "Huang Silang, Zhang Mazi can rob your goods, so why can't he enter your house?"
"My blockhouse is impregnable; he can't get in," Huang Silang said confidently.
"Then how are you sure that only the Advisor and I entered the blockhouse?"
After Zhang Mazi finished speaking, he spat out the whistle from his mouth, blew it once, and put it back.
The brothers waiting for the signal outside, though confused by the retreat whistle, still obeyed the order, and Old Three whistled in response.
Zhang Mazi's action was meant to manipulate Huang Silang, to make him understand that he posed a threat.
Huang Silang was indeed stunned, re-evaluating the new County Magistrate before him.
"Did you hear that?" Zhang Mazi pressed.
The audience watched with exhilaration; now Huang Silang couldn't be arrogant anymore.
In the end, Huang Silang, unable to fathom Zhang Mazi's true strength, agreed to fund the bandit suppression and even offered beauties and jewels, appearing outwardly to be enjoying the hospitality.
But as soon as Zhang Mazi left, he sent Hu Wan, who was already considered dead by the outside world, to kill him.
Zhang Mazi did not touch his wife, but there was a story between Tang the Advisor and his wife.
It turned out that his wife came from a brothel, and the money for buying the official position was also hers. All she cared about was the identity of the County Magistrate's wife.
Hu Wan led his men to kill, believing Zhang Mazi and his wife were together.
After a volley of gunfire, his wife unfortunately died.
Zhang Mazi and others rushed over and captured Hu Wan. This time, Hu Wan was completely dead.
Seeing his wife dead, Tang the Advisor burst into tears, showing his true emotions, and even revealed his identity: "She is my wife! I am the County Magistrate! I am Ma Bonde!"
Zhang Mazi was still in shock.
Then the third brother reported that Huang Silang had arrived, obviously to see if Zhang Mazi was really dead!
Zhang Mazi let Huang Silang in; his wife's death had deepened the hatred between the two.
Huang Silang hypocritically asked, "How is the County Magistrate?" but then saw Zhang Mazi imitating Tang the Advisor, crying over his wife's body.
"I said I couldn't be the County Magistrate, but you insisted on buying this official position. Now that you have it, you're gone!"
As he spoke, he also shouted, "She is my wife! I am the County Magistrate! I am Ma Bonde!"
This scene made the audience laugh out loud; wasn't that exactly what Tang the Advisor had just said?
Should he just copy it directly?
And Tang the Advisor? He felt as uncomfortable as if he had eaten a dead fly.
After the Hongmen Banquet and the wife's death, the film's pace suddenly accelerated, and Zhang Mazi and Huang Silang's confrontations became increasingly ruthless.
Zhang Mazi invited the gentry to his wife's funeral.
However, halfway through the funeral, masked bandits wearing a 'nine of tubes' mask broke in, kidnapping people from the two major families and "Huang Silang."
Hu Qian thought the bandits were Hu Wan disguised, and tentatively called out, "Hu Wan?" only to be punched by a bandit.
Seeing the time was ripe, Zhang Mazi loudly shouted, "Good sirs! I am the County Magistrate, if you want to kidnap, kidnap me!"
The bandit replied, "We'll spare your life to collect the money. The hostages will be released within three days if the money arrives; otherwise, they will be torn apart."
Zhang Mazi, with righteous indignation, held his gun and shouted, "Kill me!"
Just as the audience thought Huang Silang was about to be caught, another Huang Silang appeared on the hillside, smiling and saying, "Tear them! That's what a body double is for!"
This foreshadowing of the body double made the audience's scalps tingle, and they couldn't help but admire the ingenious conception of the screenwriter, Su Yu.
Huang Silang also shouted from above to Zhang Mazi, "Little brother, don't worry about me!"
In fact, the appearance of the bandits also baffled Huang Silang; Hu Qian even suspected that Hu Wan had defected to Zhang Mazi!
At this moment, the priest at the funeral remained unaffected, still meticulously reciting prayers, which inexplicably added a touch of humor.
In this counterattack, although Zhang Mazi did not completely defeat Huang Silang, he obtained ransom from the two major families and made a large profit.
Facing the money spread all over the ground, a divergence appeared within the gang.
Tang the Advisor cried as he said the money was exchanged for his wife's life.
The third brother slammed the table and rose, "Then is Little Six's life not a life?"
The seventh brother asked, "Why are we here?"
Everyone replied, "For money!"
"Has the money arrived?" "Yes, it has."
"Let's go!" the seventh brother shouted.
Zhang Mazi looked surprised and sad; he knew his brothers, due to the money and Huang Silang's power, had forgotten their vow to avenge Little Six.
As soon as Tang the Advisor heard they were leaving, he immediately agreed.
The seventh brother retorted, "Then why are you still crying?"
"I can stop crying!" Tang the Advisor instantly cowered.
Only then did everyone notice Zhang Mazi; he sat in the distance, showing no intention of taking the money and running.
The seventh brother asked, "Big brother, when are we leaving?"
Zhang Mazi lit a cigarette, exhaled smoke, and simply said, "Not leaving. Little Six and my wife, two lives, must be repaid by Huang Silang."
Tang the Advisor bitterly advised him, saying they couldn't win.
But Zhang Mazi was determined to distribute the money to the poor.
Although everyone was puzzled, they still did as told.
The second and third brothers went to the brothel to scatter money, feeling that the women inside were poor.
Then, Sister Hua, played by Liu Ruyan, suddenly appeared and, while the two were happy, suddenly removed their masks.
It turned out she was Huang Silang's person.
Although Sister Hua saw their faces, the second and third brothers did not kill her; they even tied her up and brought her back.
Sister Hua thus infiltrated Zhang Mazi's gang.
Tang the Advisor clamored to kill anyone who had seen the bandits' true faces.
The third brother threatened with a knife, "Advisor, you were the first to see the bandits' true faces."
Tang the Advisor was so scared he dared not utter a sound.
Zhang Mazi did not kill Sister Hua; he generously admitted his identity, telling her he was Zhang Mazi!
Sister Hua, played by Liu Ruyan, fainted immediately after hearing this.
But many people could tell she was definitely faking it!
On Huang Silang's side, Hu Qian reported that masked bandits were distributing money.
Huang Silang told Hu Qian to wear a 'nine of tubes' mask and rob money in the bandits' style, and also sent people to investigate Ma Bonde's background.
The fake bandits broke into a household and made advances towards a couple who were counting money; the scale of it made the audience blush, though subsequent scenes were not shown.
The next day, the couple reported the case to the yamen, and Tang the Advisor cursed, "Six people, and in front of the husband, and letting him watch? Bah! Disgusting! I even turn off the lights!"
The audience couldn't stop laughing.
The brothers all explained, the seventh brother said, "You know me, I never bully others; I prefer to be passive." The third brother said, "You know me, it's my habit to never ask for help." The fourth brother said, "You know me, if it were me, no one would be alive to complain." The fifth brother said, "I, the fifth brother, am the oldest, and to this day... commonly known as a virgin."
The second brother was even more extreme: "Big brother, you know me, if I made a move, it would be his husband lying on the table."
The audience laughed uncontrollably, and Zhang Mazi also sighed, "I hear it now, you all possess extraordinary skills."
Zhang Mazi noticed Tang the Advisor was acting strangely and rushed into his room to search, only to find a "child" emerge from under the bed.
It was a burly man, who claimed to be eight years old, astonishing everyone and making laughter erupt again.
As the plot progressed, it turned out this mother and son were looking for Tang the Advisor for money, and Zhang Mazi gave them a gem.
But everyone felt that this mother and son were brought by Tang the Advisor to scam money.
Afterward, when the second and third brothers were showing Sister Hua the "bicycle," Huang Silang brought people and subdued them.
Sister Hua took out a box and knelt to Huang Silang, who then left satisfied.
The audience felt that Huang Silang was testing Sister Hua's loyalty!
Huang Silang didn't care about this small amount of money; what he wanted to see was Sister Hua's attitude!
And Zhang Mazi still wanted to scatter money, but Tang the Advisor refused.
Zhang Mazi told him that if he didn't go, someone might come looking for him in the middle of the night, and that he should keep his composure and talk as slowly as possible.
Huang Silang received a tip-off that Zhang Mazi was distributing money again, so he ordered Hu Qian and others to wear masks and kill Zhang Mazi, also creating the illusion of an internal bandit conflict.
Hu Qian and others found Zhang Mazi leading with a 'four of tubes' mask, so they also put them on. Zhang Mazi, realizing this, told his brothers to also switch to 'four of tubes' masks.
The audience watched with surging excitement; a major battle was imminent, but Hu Qian and others were still in the dark.
When the two groups met, Huang Silang's men were instantly bewildered. All wearing 'four of tubes' masks, they couldn't distinguish who was who and didn't know whom to attack.
On the other side, Huang Silang went to the yamen in the middle of the night to find Tang the Advisor; Zhang Mazi's words had come true.
Tang the Advisor kept his composure and did not surrender immediately.
Hu Qian ran to report that the bandits in the city had fought each other, and six people had died.
Huang Silang brought Tang the Advisor to the scene; the heavy rain made the scene chaotic and blurry.
But when the mask of a corpse wearing a 'four of tubes' mask was removed, Huang Silang's smile froze; it was Hu Wan!
At this moment, Zhang Mazi's voice came, "Hu Wan is the bandit! The bandit is Hu Wan!"
Huang Silang and his men instantly became alert, and their dark gun barrels were aimed squarely at Zhang Mazi's group.
Zhang Mazi, however, looked composed, and his voice, like a booming bell, declared, "The one who killed the County Magistrate's wife, kidnapped the gentry, and caused untold suffering to the people of Goose City, is precisely your Huang Silang's—Hu Wan!"
Lightning, like sharp blades, repeatedly cut through the dark sky, illuminating Zhang Mazi's group steadily approaching Huang Silang and his men.
Zhang Mazi strode confidently at the front, dressed in his dignified County Magistrate's attire. Behind him, his brothers each held umbrellas, their steps uniform. The scene seemed to glow, brimming with coolness.
Accompanied by thunder, lightning, and pouring rain, Zhang Mazi and his men pressed closer, their powerful aura sending shivers down one's spine.
When Zhang Mazi reached Huang Silang and his face was clearly visible, a thunderous statement, as if exploding from flat ground, clearly reached him: "I told you why you refused to pay to suppress the bandits. So you were the thief crying 'stop thief' all along!"
This counter-move caught everyone off guard.
Zhang Mazi's acting instantly erupted; his eyes wide with fury, he roared at Huang Silang, "You point a gun at me? You actually dare to point a gun at me? What, do you want to start a shootout with me?!"
Huang Silang then came to his senses, and in a panic, lowered his gun and fired several shots at Hu Wan's corpse!
He shouted loudly at his subordinates, "All of you, look clearly! This is what happens to bandits! Even if it were my own father, if he committed this, he would have to die!"
After shouting, he still wasn't satisfied, and fired two more shots, muttering, "He deserved to die!"
Huang Silang was filled with resentment at this moment, as he had once again fallen into Zhang Mazi's hands.
Zhang Mazi looked at the hypocritical Huang Silang, took a step forward, removed his top hat, and elegantly shook off the rainwater.
He looked directly into the other's eyes and quipped, "The bandit Hu Wan was shot five more times by Huang Silang. This play is truly spectacular."
These words, coming from Zhang Mazi's serious mouth, inexplicably carried a touch of humor.
But Zhang Mazi's "performance" wasn't over. He then loudly declared, "Righteous elimination of kin? I think it's murder to silence a witness! You are the bandit leader Zhang Mazi!"
Saying this, he pointed his top hat directly at Huang Silang.
Changing the subject, Zhang Mazi then said, "If it's truly righteous elimination of kin, then it's easy to handle. You pay, and I'll suppress the bandits."
Huang Silang forced a toothy smile and, as if it were a serious matter, cupped his fists and said, "Alright, in three days, I will certainly give the County Magistrate a surprise!"
But everyone knew that "three days later" was merely a delaying tactic; Huang Silang was planning to eliminate Zhang Mazi and his men within those three days.
Zhang Mazi naturally wouldn't let Huang Silang off easily. He turned to Tang the Advisor and said, "Tang the Advisor, he is Hu Wan's benefactor, and now he has become your benefactor. Can you translate for me, what is a surprise?"
Tang the Advisor looked awkward and said, "Does this even need translating?"
Zhang Mazi raised his voice, drawing out his words, "I want you to translate for me, what is a sur—prise!"
Tang the Advisor quickly replied, "No need to translate, it's just a surprise."
Huang Silang also became anxious, "Don't you understand what a surprise is?"
Zhang Mazi's voice grew even louder amidst the thunder, "Today, I just want you to translate, exactly what is a surprise!"
His voice instantly drowned out Tang the Advisor and Huang Silang's. "Translate it for me, what the heck is a surprise! What the heck! What the heck, is a surprise!!"
At this moment, Zhang Mazi's aura was fully unleashed, pressing closer step by step. Tang the Advisor and Huang Silang were speechless for a moment.
"What the heck is a surprise?" Tang the Advisor looked bewildered, his voice hoarse as he sought help from Huang Silang.
Huang Silang strained his voice to explain, "A surprise is that in three days, I will pay 1.8 million, you go out of the city to suppress the bandits, and then connect with my leg. Do you understand now?"
Tang the Advisor hurriedly looked at Zhang Mazi and said, "This is the surprise!"
Zhang Mazi feigned ignorance and said, "Translate it."
Tang the Advisor could only loudly repeat, "A surprise is that in three days, I will pay 1.8 million for you to go out of the city to suppress the bandits! And connect with his leg!!"
At this point, Zhang Mazi's brothers behind him all laughed, and one of them said, "Big brother, this really is a surprise, my little brother is willing to wait three days for you!"
Zhang Mazi seemed to have just realized, stepped forward to shake hands with Huang Silang, and his address to Huang Silang changed from "Huang Silang" to "Big brother," showing his true nature.
Huang Silang responded with a sound, and Zhang Mazi pulled Tang the Advisor back to his side, putting his arm around his shoulder, and said, "Tang the Advisor, he is my beloved, you cannot take away what I love!"
Tang the Advisor's eyes widened, while Huang Silang smiled and cupped his fists in salute: "Impressive, impressive..."
As Zhang Mazi turned to leave, he lightly but firmly patted Tang the Advisor's shoulders twice. Tang the Advisor understood in his heart that his path to defecting to Huang Silang was now completely blocked.
