It was 12:00 PM in Nandou Media Institute, Nandou, Blue Star. Li Ang, a sophomore, had just finished his morning classes. Today happened to be his birthday, and he had booked a restaurant outside of school to celebrate with his friends.
Our protagonist was an orphan, adopted by a local orphanage in Nandou since childhood. As he grew up, he supported himself through part-time work, and he always celebrated his birthday with friends.
Li Ang was humming a tune as he walked along the road when suddenly a Wuling sped through the intersection, and Li Ang was instantly sent flying. Everything happened so unexpectedly.
Li Ang's mind was still in a haze after being suddenly hit. A sense of weightlessness swept over him, and time seemed to stretch infinitely, but his mind was blank. After he came to, intense pain followed. He couldn't believe he was so unlucky.
But his gradually blurring consciousness told him that all of this was so real. The desire for life and the fear of Death intertwined in Li Ang's mind at that moment.
Accompanied by the shouts of passersby and the siren of an ambulance, a wave of drowsiness came over Li Ang, and he gradually lost consciousness. As his body's functions steadily declined, a ball of light flew out from between Li Ang's eyebrows.
After circling in the air for a moment, it flew straight into the depths of the universe. The ball of light moved faster and faster. With a cracking sound, the ball of light shattered the fourth wall and flew into the DC Universe.
In the Cadmus underground laboratory on level 52 in Washington, inside a Project Kr cultivation tank, lay a person with a face almost identical to Superman, around 20 years old, wearing a white solar absorption suit.
The red 'S' symbol on his chest was particularly striking. That's right, this body was a product of the Cadmus weapons program, a Clone with half of Lex Luthor's genes and half of Superman's genes.
Lex Luthor, one of the Illuminati members, created him with the purpose of killing Superman and replacing him. As a Clone of Superman, he possessed most of Superman's abilities but not flight or heat vision.
At this moment, a ball of light flew into the laboratory and directly entered the Clone's brow. Immediately after, the body also emitted a dazzling light.
As the alarm sounded, the light gradually faded. The duty officer in the monitoring room canceled the alarm after finding that nothing had happened.
However, in the simple and honest Gotham City, at noon, a strange man wearing blue armor, a transparent glass cover on his head, a large tank on his back, and a sci-fi gun in his hand, arrived at a plaza where many families were enjoying their gatherings.
As a blue light flashed, a cold ray shot out from the gun, carrying extreme cold. Many passersby were frozen into ice blocks: "You're enjoying family gatherings? I have a better idea." The man inside the glass cover revealed a cruel smile: "Compared to a freak, I prefer you call me Mister Freeze. Enjoy your last moments!"
Suddenly, a violent explosion occurred behind Mister Freeze, and a dark figure descended from high above. "Batman? No, you're Robin. The opponent I need is a true hero, not an immature brat." As he spoke, Mister Freeze launched a fierce counterattack, with pale blue lasers continuously shooting from his gun.
Robin rolled and dodged while throwing a Batarang: "Blue-skinned freak, shut your stinking mouth. I don't have time to waste with you today." The Batarang drew a graceful arc in the air, accurately struck Mister Freeze's mask, and then exploded. The glass mask shattered in response, exposing Mister Freeze's blue skin to the air, and he roared in pain.
Suddenly, a shadowy Batman figure appeared behind him. Batman twisted and punched Mister Freeze directly, sending him flying. Mister Freeze, upon landing, immediately passed out. Robin eagerly said to Batman: "Today we promised to visit the Justice League. I don't want to be late."
A battle erupted on a cargo ship that had just sailed out near Star City's military port. The cargo ship was covered in frozen traces. A girl with blue hair and pale skin was wreaking havoc on the ship. At this moment, two figures leaped from the sea onto the cargo ship.
Aquaman Arthur and the second-generation Aqualad, Kaldur'ahm, two superheroes from Atlantis, often performed acts of heroism on the sea. The two moved quickly, alternating forward, constantly using obstacles to evade the Ice Killer's attacks. As Aqualad, he possessed super strength and super endurance, in addition to water magic and electrical abilities, which gave him considerable combat power among young superheroes.
Moreover, Kaldur'ahm himself had a calm demeanor, remaining fearless even when facing villains like the Ice Killer. "Looks like you're still not excited enough, Kaldur'ahm," Arthur teased Kaldur'ahm while pressing forward.
"For now, let's focus on the task at hand, My King." As soon as he finished speaking, Kaldur'ahm drew the weapons from his back—a pair of dual-wielded weapons that could change shape through flowing water and also conduct electricity.
With a transformation, Kaldur'ahm held a shield in his left hand and a hammer in his right. He quickly approached his opponent while blocking the freezing beam. The agile Kaldur'ahm dodged left and right. He quickly closed in on his opponent, but the Ice Killer's hands suddenly emitted a dazzling light, firing a thick beam. Kaldur'ahm's left hand transformed, changing the shield into a hammer as well, and he used both hands to block the beam. Because of contact with the freezing beam, the flowing water in his dual hammers also turned into solid ice.
Then he rolled to the left to evade the beam, suddenly burst up and leaped into the air, arching his body in the air, and then brought the large hammer down heavily, giving the Ice Killer a face massage, quickly resolving the battle. "My King, I've been looking forward to today."
Meanwhile, at the entrance of a jewelry store in Central City, a violent explosion suddenly occurred. As the thick smoke cleared, a person wearing a blue down jacket and holding a freeze gun appeared on the street—Captain Cold, a villain who constantly opposed Flash. He held the recently stolen diamonds, just about to escape, when two extremely fast figures flashed by.
One red and one yellow, Flash Barry and Kid Flash Wally West, who, like Flash, gained Speed Force due to an accident. The two continuously circled Captain Cold. "Stealing diamonds? No way, that's too old-fashioned for Captain Cold." Barry mocked Captain Cold while running.
Wally, on the side, couldn't hold back. He pulled down his mask and sped up. "Come on, we don't have time to spare." With that, he quickly rushed towards Captain Cold but was grazed on the shoulder by a freezing beam due to insufficient dodging. He ducked, dodged the remaining beams, and quickly lunged forward, tackling his opponent to the ground, throwing the freeze gun away, and subduing Captain Cold.
"Calm down, kid. As a speedster, you must always stay calm and learn to think quickly, understand?" Barry tirelessly lectured Wally, but it was clear that Wally wasn't listening at all; he seemed very excited. "Don't say so much, hurry, hurry! We're going to visit Justice Hall, and I don't want to be the last one to arrive."
