Chapter 42: Eliminate the Outer Gods' minions

"Keep moving forward!"

Qu Huaiwei's voice was calm, her plan undisturbed by the sudden deaths.

Here, hesitation meant death.

Although the others were afraid, they quickly followed.

The Outer Gods underground were terrifying, but wasn't the True Monarch just as terrifying?

Since they had chosen to follow the True Monarch, there was no option to withdraw midway; dealing with gods was always a gamble.

"About three hundred meters down, there's a large cave!"

Run Tu, leading the way, said in a low voice, "I can feel many things inside; the energy fluctuations are very chaotic."

"Everyone, step aside; I'll clear the path."

As he spoke, his body spun sharply.

He plunged into the rock wall ahead like a high-speed drill, leaving only a smooth-edged circular hole.

Just a few minutes later, Run Tu emerged from the other side of the cave wall.

"It's done," he called out.

The group passed through the tunnel Run Tu had opened, and after about three minutes, the scene before them changed dramatically.

This was a giant natural cave.

It was as if the entire underground had been hollowed out.

The four walls were completely covered with thick, constantly writhing chunks of flesh.

On the ground, countless dark green "egg sacs" were piled up, some as small as basketballs, others as large as car tires.

The surface of the egg sacs was a translucent, viscous membrane, through which distorted, wriggling dark shadows were vaguely visible.

Qu Huaiwei extended her hand, and everyone immediately stopped.

"This is truly disgusting."

Everyone felt their scalps tingle.

Run Tu lowered his voice: "I've been here twice, and each time I feel completely uncomfortable."

The group observed carefully; among the countless egg sacs, in every corner of the cave, hundreds of figures were writhing.

They were "familiars" deeply corrupted by the Outer God's power.

Moreover, they had completely lost their human form.

Some had limbs that had mutated, resembling twisted arthropods or slimy tentacles.

Some of their bodies had fused together...

Like grotesque composite monsters.

Some had cracked skulls, from which fleshy coronas or compound eye structures protruded.

Others were simply constantly writhing green masses of flesh, covered in countless tiny tendrils.

In the air, in the cave...

They were filled with hissing, gurgling, and the nauseating sound of slime rubbing!

And in the very center of the cave, a particularly massive and awe-inspiring monster was coiled!

It was a centipede, magnified countless times?!

No! More accurately, it was a terrifying creation forcibly pieced together from countless mutated, twisted human limbs.

Countless arms and legs, like arthropod segments, supported it as it crawled on the ground.

Faces, contorted in pain and even rotting, were embedded in its body like decorations.

It seemed to be the rightful guardian of the savior.

"Kill!"

Qu Huaiwei spoke no unnecessary words, her eyes flashing with cold light!

"Kill!"

At her command, the hundreds of Martial Artists, who had been waiting in ambush, charged like tigers unleashed, roaring as they rushed towards the filthy creatures.

Blades flashed, energy erupted!

The roars of humans and the screams of monsters instantly intertwined into a symphony of death.

The Martial Artists moved in groups of three, covering each other.

Sharp alloy battle blades sliced through flesh, and scorching energy pierced through tumors.

The vitality of these familiars was shockingly tenacious.

Even with their heads cut off, their headless bodies still flailed their limbs.

When their chests and abdomens were pierced, the wounds healed quickly, and more tentacles emerged.

Even a monster with half its body smashed could still furiously bite and claw with its remaining torso!

The battle instantly turned into a brutal massacre.

Slime and blood splattered, severed limbs and shredded flesh flew everywhere.

"Buzz!"

Suddenly, a piercing shriek echoed from the cave.

Everyone turned to look; the terrifying centipede, composed of countless human parts, had moved.

Its massive, bloated body suddenly lashed out, like a giant whip made of flesh and blood, striking towards the group.

"Boom!"

Three Martial Artists, unable to dodge in time, had their protective energy instantly shattered, the sound of their bones breaking clearly audible.

The three flew backward, crashing heavily against the distant rock wall, their bodies a bloody mess.

"Everyone, get out of the way!"

Qu Huaiwei stepped forward, confronting the terrifying behemoth that was crushing down!

"Buzz--!"

Red mist permeated around her, churning violently.

This scarlet mist was extremely strange, instantly condensing into several flowing Scarlet Immortal Silks, emanating powerful energy fluctuations.

The Scarlet Immortal Silks wrapped around her, possessing both an eerie charm and a sacred majesty.

Facing the sweeping giant whip of flesh and blood, Qu Huaiwei advanced instead of retreating, raising her jade-like hand lightly!

"Go!"

The Scarlet Immortal Silk shot out instantly, as fast as lightning, wrapping around the centipede monster's massive limb.

"Hiss!"

The moment the Scarlet Immortal Silk touched the centipede, a violent corrosive sound erupted.

Dark green pus and white smoke rose!

The monster let out a painful shriek, its movements suddenly pausing.

Seizing this opportunity, Qu Huaiwei tapped her toe, her figure soaring into the air, landing on the centipede monster's enormous head, which was formed from countless human skulls.

"Rumble!"

"Rumble!"

The monster went completely berserk.

Its massive body twisted frantically, violently crashing against the surrounding rock walls, attempting to shake off the intruder on its head.

The entire cave shook violently.

Shattered rocks rained down!

Qu Huaiwei's expression was icy, her feet firmly planted on the monster's head.

She manipulated the Scarlet Immortal Silk, tightening it suddenly!

"Boom!!!"

The monster's flesh ruptured, and it crashed against the rock walls even more frantically.

"Die."

Qu Huaiwei remained calm, her Scarlet Immortal Silks gathering around her right fist!

"Break!"

A clear shout!

Her right fist, enveloped in a dense red glow, like a red-hot meteor, carrying the will to purify everything, slammed heavily onto the core of the monster's giant skull!

"Boom--!!!"

A deafening, ultimate roar erupted.

That enormous bone plate, forcibly fused from countless skulls, utterly shattered under Qu Huaiwei's full-power punch!

Bone fragments flew, and bodily fluids splattered.

"Thud."

The giant centipede's massive body, as if its spine had been removed, twitched violently a few times, then crashed to the ground.

Just as Qu Huaiwei was catching her breath...

"Rumble!"

The entire cave, no, the entire underground space, suddenly shook violently.

This was ten times more intense than any previous tremor.

"Boom!"

The cave floor, without warning, split open into a huge, bottomless chasm!

"Puff!"

A giant tentacle, over two meters in diameter, shot out from the crack like the whip of a Hell demon god.

The moment this tentacle appeared, it brought with it a terrifying pressure of absolute rank, sweeping through the entire cave like a tangible tsunami.

"Puff!"

"Ah--!"

Seven or eight Martial Artists closest to the rift had no time to react; their protective energy shattered like paper, and their bodies instantly exploded.

This tentacle belonged to the Outer God!
