Chapter 1: The beginning of a dream

It was dawn, and the temperature was cool.

Knock, knock, knock! There was a knock on the door outside the room; it was Butler Will: "Good morning, Allen, it's time to get up."

"Okay, Mr. Will." On the large bed, Allen struggled for a few seconds, then turned over and reluctantly sat up from the bed. He was stunned for a moment, then laughed self-deprecatingly, "I didn't expect to transmigrate, and I still have to get up early every day!"

The Earl's family's discipline is really strict; they don't allow their children to sleep in, and it's so early. But it's fine; in one more day, he can go to his own fief and sleep until he wakes up naturally every day.

Thinking of this, his heart couldn't help but burn with excitement, wishing he could immediately take his retainers and servants and rush to his fief, to this home that didn't require a mortgage, had lifelong property rights, and belonged to him.

Allen Tricolor Violet was a transmigrator, but only his soul had transmigrated.

Before transmigrating, he was just a freshly graduated college student, looking forward to how wonderful his future would be. However, after going home and sleeping, he didn't wake up to the familiar white ceiling the next day. While his mind was still muddled, he was directly bombarded with 16 years of unfamiliar memories, causing him to faint from the pain.

But he only fainted for a few minutes. When he opened his eyes again, he already understood that he had transmigrated, becoming this handsome young man who had over-trained and suffered a cultivation deviation.

And fortunately, this handsome young man was a noble, and an otherworldly noble.

This world was similar to medieval Europe, and what was even more magical was the existence of dragons and elves. But what dominated everything in this world was not dragons and elves, but castles and Knights.

And Knights could rule this land by relying on Dou Qi, which represented power.

Yes, Knights could cultivate Dou Qi. Besides that, there were also mages who could release magic and possess magical power, and shapeshifters who mastered some special secret techniques and could transform into various Phantom Beasts. However, compared to Knights, they were very rare and weak. Fortunately, this body was an Apprentice Knight who had cultivated "Basic Dou Qi."

"Elementary Dou Qi." A surge of energy flowed continuously through his body at his will. Finally, it gathered in his hands, causing a slight tingling sensation. Power surged endlessly into his hands, making him feel like he could tear dragons and tigers apart.

Knock, knock, knock, the knocking on the door sounded again. Several maids stood at the door, carrying washbasins, towels, and some clean clothes. "Good morning, Allen."

"Please come in," Allen, dressed in a close-fitting shirt, dispersed the condensed Dou Qi and got out of bed.

The maids pushed the door open and entered, each performing their duties. One tidied the bed, one cleared clutter from the table, and two others placed the washbasin, towels, and new clothes in the changing room.

"Allen, you may begin your ablutions," the leading maid respectfully said.

"Hmm, okay." Allen, who had entered the changing room to wash up, was still condemning the "evil nobles" in his heart.

After washing up and changing into his underwear, the room was already refreshed when he came out.

"Allen, the room has been cleaned."

"Hmm, thank you."

The maids carried out the dirty sheets and clothes one after another. At the same time, a male servant stood at the door, knocked, and said, "Good morning, Allen."

Male and female servants had clear divisions of labor. Those who helped with dressing were called personal male or female servants. In noble rules, male servants could not dress the mistress, and similarly, female servants could not dress the master, to prevent any situations that could easily get out of hand.

"Come in."

After the personal male servant entered, he picked up the clean clothes brought by the maid and helped Allen put them on, carefully tidying the collar and fastening the belt. "You are truly becoming more and more handsome. I see the demeanor of the master in his youth in you," the personal male servant flattered.

"Thank you for your praise." Allen smiled slightly, adjusted his collar, "Have the Knights who went ahead to repair and clean the castle sent back any news?"

"Butler Will hasn't told us to start packing, so I assume no news has come back yet. Allen, do you need me to ask Butler Will for the specific situation?"

"No need, they already left two days ago; at the latest, there should be news by this afternoon," Allen said, then walked out of the room.

Going down the stairs, he happened to see Butler Will, watching every servant and every corner. Only when he saw Allen arrive did he withdraw his gaze and bow, "Good morning, Allen."

"Good morning, Mr. Will." He replied, then added, "Is Father dining?"

"Yes, the Earl is dining, and the Madam is also there," Will said slowly.

Breakfast was self-service. There was milk, bread, eggs, bacon, vegetable salad, and risotto. All were placed on special plates, kept warm by charcoal fire underneath.

Sitting at the head of the dining table was the hereditary "Earl of Maple Ridge," granted by Black Heart Iron Duke, the master of Butterfly Castle, and a Sky Knight who mastered advanced Dou Qi, Elvis Tricolor Violet.

His flaxen hair was slightly curly, his eyes were as deep as black jade, and his ordinary face had no particular features; he would probably be inconspicuous in a crowd, as long as one didn't look directly into his eyes.

Sitting beside him was the Countess, Anna Golden Wheat, who was Allen's mother, the youngest daughter of the Marquis Golden Wheat.

She had long hair as bright as a golden wheat field, her face was a standard oval shape, her skin was as fair as snow, and her eyes were like deep lake water, a captivating blue.

At this moment, her eyes were filled with a smile as she said, "Good morning, my dear son, come quickly and eat."

Allen's appearance inherited more from his mother: golden, slightly curly short hair, the same standard oval face, fair skin, but heterochromia—his left eye like his father's, his right eye like his mother's. He had well-defined features and a slender physique; besides his relatively poor talent, he was simply a perfect man.

"Good morning, Father, Mother." Allen produced a standard noble smile that had become muscle memory. In terms of noble etiquette, influenced by his previous body, he naturally displayed it without needing to actively learn.

The Earl nodded slightly, "Sit down. News just came from your fief; the houses have been cleaned and repaired, and you can go anytime. When do you plan to depart?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the Earl suddenly looked out the window, and then a loud and sharp eagle cry came from outside, piercing through the window and echoing continuously throughout the castle.

The Phantom Beast outside the window, as large as an Argentine Giant Eagle on Earth, was a Hurricane Eagle, with a wingspan of 7 meters. It was massive, standing 2 meters tall. It controlled wind element magic and was also his father's contracted Phantom Beast, named Naz.

It sensed that an unfamiliar Phantom Beast had invaded its territory.

The Earl stood up and approached the window, looking at the distant dust. In the dust was Guli, the Knight Commander of the Tricolor Violet Family's Knight Order, leading a Knight squad of 12 Earth Knights, riding black horses of the same color, chasing two Rui Tiger Beasts, one large and one small.
