Chapter 30: I'll kick your balls!

The brawny man twitched on the ground for a good while before his eyelids finally pried open a slit. White foam frothed from his mouth, his words indistinct, but his gaze remained fierce.

"I... F*ck you! ...You... If you don't kill me today... I'll... I'll kill you tomorrow!"

Lu Xuan almost laughed in anger at the words.

He was in such a state, yet still stubborn? Truly a stone in a latrine, both stinky and hard.

He slowly got out of bed, ambled over to the brawny man, and then unhurriedly circled behind him.

The brawny man's heart sank, and an ominous premonition surged within him. Just as he was about to struggle, Lu Xuan's foot moved.

There was a "crack" sound, accompanied by the faint tearing of fabric, and a certain... indescribable sound, like an egg being crushed.

"Aow—ugh!"

The brawny man's howl was cut short halfway, his eyes rolled back, and he frothed even more.

He thrashed violently like a fish out of water for a few moments, then completely fainted, and a faint, acrid smell began to waft through the air.

Just then, two heads peered in from outside the dorm room door—they were the brawny man's companions who had been waiting downstairs earlier.

They had waited for a long time without their boss coming down, felt something was wrong, and sneaked up to take a look. They happened to witness the elegance of Lu Xuan's kick and the glorious "demise" of their boss.

Both of them were instantly scared out of their wits, their faces turning pale. One of them's legs went weak, and he almost knelt on the ground.

"Hey, don't leave," Lu Xuan's voice was light, with a hint of playfulness, "I'm not done yet. Wake him up for me."

When the two heard this, it was as if they had heard the King of Hell's death warrant. They trembled in fear but dared not disobey, afraid they would end up like the brawny man.

"Brother Zhou... Brother Zhou! Wake up, Brother Zhou!"

One of the subordinates, with trembling hands, pushed the brawny man, but there was no response.

The other was a bit more resourceful. His eyes darted around, remembering some comedic films he had watched before.

He gritted his teeth, steeled his heart, and with a trembling hand, reached out and lightly grabbed the brawny man's unspeakable part...

"Aow—!!!"

The brawny man sprang up from the ground like a reanimated corpse, his scream so shrill it could pierce the ceiling. He clutched his crotch and rolled on the ground, his face covered in tears and snot.

"Holy crap! It hurts! It hurts me to death! My balls... my balls!"

Lu Xuan frowned, clearly displeased with the noise. He kicked the brawny man in the stomach again, controlling the force just right so that he curled up in pain but couldn't make too much noise.

"Shut up! If you howl again, I'll pull out your tongue and feed it to the dogs!"

The brawny man was completely subdued now, unsure whether to cover his stomach or his crotch.

Finally, he simply clamped his mouth shut, his eyes wide like copper bells, bloodshot, tears streaming down his face uncontrollably, veins bulging on his forehead, and cold sweat pouring down like rain. He nodded frantically at Lu Xuan, afraid of being even a split second late.

"Go back and tell Shen Yahui," Lu Xuan looked down at him, his tone flat, "Don't be anxious. I will settle her debts with her, one by one, slowly. However, before I come to find her, she had best behave herself and not send useless trash like you to bother me again. Otherwise, she will regret ever coming into this world."

He paused, then added, "Get out. Remember to take this pile of trash on the ground with you; don't dirty my floor."

The brawny man and the two subordinates felt as if they had been granted a great pardon, like they had snatched their lives back from the gates of hell.

"Thank you... Thank you, Brother! Thank you, Brother, for sparing our lives!"

The brawny man clutched his crotch, his voice trembling like a sieve. Supported by the two subordinates, he limped and scrambled out of the dorm room.

Lu Xuan watched their pathetic escape, a cold sneer playing on his lips. He turned back to his bed, picked up his phone, and continued to browse the faculty information on the campus network, as if nothing had happened.

And all of this was seen clearly by Zhao Qin, who was peeking through a gap in his quilt.

He wasn't just scared to death now; he felt like he had already died once.

That "crack" sound seemed to directly squeeze his heart, causing a sharp pain in a certain part of his body as well.

He clutched the quilt tightly, not daring to breathe, afraid that Lu Xuan's next target would be him. This was no student; this was clearly an Asura demon that had crawled out of hell!

Just then, Lu Xuan's phone rang.

Zhao Qin flinched in fear, almost rolling off the bed.

Lu Xuan glanced at the caller ID; it was his mother.

The cold ferocity in his eyes instantly dissipated quite a bit as he answered the call.

"Hello, Mom."

"Hey, Xuan'er," a gentle and kind female voice came from the other end of the phone, "Mom has something to tell you. I asked the village secretary, and after much effort, I managed to get you a scholarship spot."

"I've already filled out all the documents; it just needs a stamp from the school. You take the documents to your school leaders, get the stamp, and then it's done."

Upon hearing this, Lu Xuan felt a warmth in his heart, followed by a touch of wry amusement.

Now that he had the system, even though it was only a daily limit of 100,000, money was the one thing he wasn't lacking.

But then he thought, he couldn't let his parents know about his sudden wealth yet.

His old parents had been frugal their whole lives; if he suddenly told them he had endless money, they would surely think he had gone mad or done something illegal.

This matter had to be taken slowly, improving the family's life little by little.

Moreover, he had indeed applied for this scholarship in his previous life, but due to limited spots and no connections, it ultimately came to nothing.

In this life, his mother still applied for the scholarship.

"Got it, Mom. You've worked hard."

Lu Xuan's voice carried a hint of an almost imperceptible choke.

To hear his mother's voice clearly again, and to feel this warmth from his family, the flame of revenge in his heart burned even more fiercely.

Those who had hurt him and his family, not one of them would escape!

"Silly child, why are you being so polite with your mom? I mailed the documents to you two days ago. By my reckoning, they should arrive today. I've sent you the tracking number on green bubble; pay attention to it."

"Okay, Mom. You take care of yourself too; don't work too hard."

The mother and son chatted about everyday things for a few more moments before Lu Xuan hung up the phone.

He took a deep breath, opened green bubble, and sure enough, saw the tracking number his mother had sent.

It seemed it was time to return to his long-departed hometown.

But before that, there were still some old scores to settle at Yanjing University.

He shifted his gaze back to the faculty list on his phone screen, his eyes once again turning cold and sharp.
