Chapter 123: I'm not a human being!

From Ash's perspective, it wasn't quite as thrilling.

To summarize it simply:

Yu Feng, enraged, puffed out his chest and threw a punch straight at the Dragonite. The Dragonite met him with a burst of fire. The two clashed, fighting for four or five rounds. Dragonite, realizing it couldn't win, responded with Dragon Breath, which was intercepted by Gardevoir. Beams of light collided.

Yes, it was that simple. After about twenty minutes of battle, the Giant Dragonite sat motionless in the sea.

"Kirlia! (Mm-hmm, I understand.)"

Just as everyone was wondering why the Giant Dragonite had suddenly sat down, the Shiny Kirlia suddenly covered her ear with one hand, nodding seriously as if she had heard something.

While the others were still bewildered, she wasted no words and immediately Teleported everyone back.

She was really too lazy to communicate with them now. Even if she spoke, they wouldn't understand. Not everyone was like her big brother, able to converse directly.

Fortunately, Teleport was very fast. They were taken back before they could even react, and then, without giving them a chance to process, she slapped her own Poké Ball and returned directly inside, not caring at all how her big brother would explain later.

"Everyone, you're back. Come and meet this one; this is the Giant Dragonite."

Looking at the bewildered crowd, Yu Feng, who hadn't fully recovered, began to introduce them.

"You are? Xiao Feng?!"

The still-confused crowd only heard a Shiny Gardevoir, identical to Xiao Feng's Giant Shiny Gardevoir but a size smaller, introducing the Giant Dragonite behind her in Yu Feng's voice.

As for why they recognized him immediately, only Yu Feng could make that giant Gardevoir willingly stand behind him, right? Moreover, the voice was the same, so there was no mistaking it.

It's just... this appearance... was a bit surprising.

Not a human, but a Pokémon with a wasp waist, ample bosom, and looks not inferior to Xiao Xia.

Most importantly, Xiao Feng was male! Had Xiao Xia really fallen behind even a male?

Everyone's gaze shifted from Yu Feng to Yu Teng Sheng Dai, then to Xiao Xia. Expressions of regret appeared on all their faces.

She was already flat enough, and now she couldn't even compare to a man. It was truly lamentable.

"You're all going to die! I'm still young; I can still develop!!"

Xiao Xia saw the looks in their eyes and knew they were up to no good. She glared angrily at the people around her.

Hmm, Xiao Feng, now a Pokémon, she wasn't sure if she could beat him, so she gave up.

Professor Bill? He didn't care about her at all; instead, he was intently observing Xiao Feng. Right, someone willing to spend over a decade waiting for a mysterious Pokémon naturally wouldn't care about her.

Yu Teng Sheng Dai? Forget it, she couldn't afford to provoke her. Besides, Yu Teng Sheng Dai only glanced once.

Ash? The kid was already silly; wouldn't another blow make him even sillier?

So, Xiao Xia's unfriendly gaze landed on Brock's head. One punch, and Brock sank!

The others, seeing Xiao Xia's actions, immediately averted their eyes, staring intently at Yu Feng. After all, Yu Feng, who had been with them day in and day out, was actually a Pokémon, and he had even become a Trainer with his own Pokémon.

"No, this is just a use of Psychic."

Yu Feng waved his hand, subtly pulling his arm from Bill's grip. If he hadn't known this guy was the type who wanted to experience Pokémon's feelings, and in some versions of the game would even swap bodies with Pokémon to feel what they felt...

Just with that suspiciously queer action, Yu Feng would have to give him a Million-Ton Punch massage to loosen his bones.

"This is truly, too amazing! Indeed, there are so many things in this world waiting for me to explore."

Bill couldn't help but exclaim. Today alone, he had seen more than in the past decade.

Just observing Yu Feng for this short while had given him, Bill, a rich harvest, and made him realize how narrow his previous worldview had been.

Why did he have to burrow into a costume to feel the inner world of Pokémon? Ultimately, a costume was just a costume.

He couldn't truly experience the Pokémon's own feelings. He, Bill, was always a genuine human.

He, Bill! He would research a device that could turn humans into Pokémon or allow humans to swap bodies with Pokémon.

That way, he could truly experience what Pokémon felt.

"What is the Professor thinking about?"

Seeing Bill's lips gradually curve upwards, Yu Feng curiously asked what he was thinking.

After all, the mysterious Pokémon he had waited for over a decade was right in front of him. Not observing it properly and just smiling here was truly creepy.

"Xiao Feng, human abilities have their limits. I've learned one thing from my short life: the more I research Pokémon, the more I realize that human abilities have limits, unless one transcends humanity."

Seeing Yu Feng and the Shiny Gardevoir behind him, Bill's excitement was beyond words.

Such perfectly matched appearances, such a sturdy and strong body! And all the unknown Pokémon.

The long-lost feeling of excitement, which had only just appeared when he saw the Giant Dragonite, now resurfaced upon seeing Yu Feng in his Pokémon form. All of this made him feel as if he were in a dream.

"Professor, you don't have a fever, do you?"

Unlike the others' puzzled expressions, Ash directly touched Bill's forehead.

It couldn't be that the battle just now affected the lighthouse, making Professor Bill a bit heartbroken, and now he was going crazy, could it?

"I bet your next sentence is, 'I'm not going to be human anymore.'"

Hearing Bill's words, Yu Feng knew what he was going to do next. Good heavens, so this is how Bill's device for swapping bodies with Pokémon came about!

"How did you know? Never mind. You're right, a costume is just a costume, but if I could truly become a Pokémon!!!"

As Bill spoke, the sun slowly rose, and the mist gradually dispersed. A ray of sunlight fell, gilding Bill's entire body.

Only by becoming a Pokémon can one understand Pokémon, so he, Bill, was not going to be human anymore!!!

"Professor, don't be in such a hurry. Xiao Feng, what's going on with you?"

Brock had recovered at some point. First, he gently stopped Bill's now somewhat unrealistic idea, then he became curious about Yu Feng's current state.

They only knew that Xiao Feng was raised by Pokémon, but they didn't know that Xiao Feng was also a Pokémon. And from the looks of it, this should be the form his sister takes after evolving once, which is the appearance of the Shiny Gardevoir behind him. Is the size difference really that great?

"This is an effect of Psychic. Everyone's Psychic effects are different. Didn't I turn people into dolls before? My Psychic's main effect is that I can mimic things I possess."

Yu Feng didn't want to tell them that both forms were him. He could only say it was a special effect of Psychic. There are quite a few Psychics in the entire Pokémon world, but only a few are as powerful as them.

Natsume, whose Psychic is vast and practical; Caitlin, whose Psychic attacks are super strong; and Olympia, whose precognitive abilities are super strong.

Slightly weaker ones include Gym Leader Yu Feng and Xiao Nan, who can read minds, and Sabrina, who can only move objects.

Although they are all pretty similar, everyone has different specialties.

"Is that so? You also had dolls? Oh, that's not strange."

Brock and the others weren't clear about the situation with Psychics; they hadn't even seen many. But since Yu Feng said so, there must be a reason for it. He couldn't possibly be lying to them, could he?

As for the doll matter, Brock was about to object but suddenly remembered that he seemed to have those things too, so it was fine.

"Alright, Professor, what are you planning to do?"

By now, the effects of the special pollen clump had worn off, and Yu Feng had returned to his human form, which was not as magnificent and dazzling as his Gardevoir form.

He was now more curious about what Professor Bill, who was preparing not to be human, planned to do. After all, half of the lighthouse was destroyed, but fortunately, the living areas below weren't too badly affected.
