Icy Wind, mixed with ice shards, emerged from Shiny Kirlia's mouth, following its Confusion to entangle the Spearow and Fearow that were stirring restlessly around them.
The Fearow, not knowing what this was, were still itching to continue their attack. So many of their kind had fallen here; they had to make this person and his Pokémon realize the might of their Fearow Family.
Even if this human looked very beautiful, and the aura around him was very comfortable.
Of course, for them, who had never seen Icy Wind, they thought, 'It's just wind that changed color, what's so special about it?'
The Fearow Family had nothing else but stubborn heads!
Brave Fearow, unafraid of difficulties!
Of course, the consequence of underestimating Icy Wind was that the entangled Fearow instantly lost their ability to fly, their eyes spinning in circles as they dropped to the ground.
The Fearow that luckily weren't instantly knocked out screamed in terror, flying chaotically towards the periphery.
"Gah! Gah~! (There's a blue old aunt bird-killer here!!)"
Yu Feng, hearing the Fearow's cry, mourned for it for three seconds, thinking, 'You run if you want to, but why do you have to yell nonsense?'
Sure enough, a thick bolt of lightning struck the screaming Fearow, turning it into a roasted Fearow that plunged headfirst to the ground.
The other Fearow, seeing this, didn't dare to make another sound, each wishing they had been born with a few more wings.
"Kirlia. (Is this what you meant by a big deal?)"
"Kirlia, (If it means making me angry, then yes, it's a big deal.)"
The red glow in Shiny Kirlia's eyes became more prominent in the somewhat dim forest; clearly, she was very angry now.
If that Fearow hadn't screamed, it would have just run away, and Shiny Kirlia wouldn't have bothered to argue with a small bird.
But to dare call her an old aunt, that was truly like a grasshopper after autumn, aimlessly hopping.
"Shh, it's raining."
Yu Feng caught a falling raindrop with his hand, looking up at the sky that was starting to darken.
"Kirlia? (What kind of rain?)"
Honestly, Shiny Kirlia was starting to not understand her elder brother. After living together for so many years, this was the first time she felt she couldn't understand her brother.
A raindrop fell on Shiny Kirlia's head, catching her attention.
Not long after, the pattering raindrops traced white lines across the sky, merging with the earth.
The rain intensified almost visibly, and the sky grew darker.
The camp's lights illuminated this small area, and some Pokémon hid under the pre-built shelters to avoid the rain.
Shiny Kirlia glanced at Yu Feng, who was still fishing for Pokémon by the river. The heavy rain falling on him subtly formed a white film that enveloped him.
"Tsk."
Having spent so many years with Yu Feng, Shiny Kirlia had learned some human words, though most were interjections.
However, she rarely used them, as with Psychic, direct resonance was fine, and at worst, her elder brother understood what she was saying.
"Kirlia. (Why aren't you coming back quickly? What are you showing off for?)"
She wasn't worried that her elder brother would catch a cold from being in the rain too long, but rather that if she didn't speak up, her elder brother would probably wait in the rain until it stopped.
Such things had happened before. When they went to steal Combee's honey, they were surrounded by Vespiquen and a swarm of Combee in a cave for nearly two hours, and her elder brother stubbornly blocked the entrance outside for two hours.
If it weren't for their aunt arriving in time to drive away Vespiquen and her Combee, her elder brother, upon returning, might have been stung into more than just a pig's head.
"Alright, coming."
Hearing Shiny Kirlia's words, Yu Feng smiled and jogged back to the tent.
If his Lao Mei hadn't spoken up, he would have been unable to hold on much longer. It wasn't a problem to use Psychic to block a few raindrops, but a continuous downpour was too difficult.
Many drops earlier hadn't been blocked, leaving his shoulders a bit damp.
"Kirlia. (Serves you right, for showing off.)"
Shiny Kirlia pouted, but still conjured a small orb of light in her hand, letting it float at the top of the tent.
The appearance of the small orb made the previously damp and cold air in the tent warm up, and the Pokémon sheltering around the tent moved closer.
Yu Feng handed his wet clothes to Indeedee to dry, while he put on a white windbreaker with a blue lining.
"What do you mean showing off? I'm telling you, this rain won't last long."
Looking at the heavy rain outside, Yu Feng calmly picked up the black tea Indeedee handed him and began to drink.
Hmm, behind every cup of black tea, a Polteageist was being harassed.
"By the way, do you feel like the magnetic field around here is starting to twist?"
Returning the empty teacup to Indeedee, Yu Feng turned to his dear Lao Mei.
His Psychic told him that the electric energy nearby was rapidly disappearing, which meant it was time.
Hearing Yu Feng's words, Shiny Kirlia closed her eyes and carefully sensed. The electric energy nearby was indeed converging in one direction. She nodded to Yu Feng: "Kirlia. (Yes, I feel it too.)"
"As long as we're not mistaken, then we're about to witness a magnificent sight."
When his Lao Mei also confirmed his feeling was correct, Yu Feng smiled faintly. This was one of the few times a certain 'actor' was going all out.
Just as Shiny Kirlia was confused, a thick bolt of lightning descended from the sky, as if the wrath of a god was about to cleave the entire earth in two.
The dazzling white light made it impossible to tell where one was for a moment, only the lightning, even brighter than the white light, could be seen.
"Kirlia! (Hiss, is this what you meant? It's certainly worth seeing.)"
Shiny Kirlia gritted her teeth. She calculated that for her Thunderbolt to reach this level, she would at least need to reach her aunt's standard, or learn the skill Thunder.
But the problem was, reaching her aunt's level was still far off. She wasn't even a Gardevoir, let alone comparable to her aunt.
Compared this way, learning Thunder seemed more reliable.
"No, no, it's what comes next."
Yu Feng motioned for his Lao Mei to wait a bit longer; what he was talking about wasn't this.
After a while, this sudden heavy rain, just as it had come, suddenly disappeared from the sky.
"See, he's here."
Yu Feng emerged from the tent, releasing all his Pokémon. At the same time, he pointed to the sky, which had turned blue. A mysterious Pokémon was flying towards the other side.
Along its flight path, a rainbow was quietly appearing.
"Kirlia? (The Shiny Fearow you wanted me to see? I'm Shiny too, you know.)"
Shiny Kirlia stood beside Yu Feng, gazing at the Ho-Oh in the sky, sparkling and emitting tiny light specks. Then she looked at herself, also emitting tiny light specks, and subsequently looked at the flying "Shiny Fearow" in the sky with a hint of disdain.
