Chapter 5: Ready to go!

Time, like water, always flows by unnoticed.

A young man with blue hair, orange streaks on both sides, and a delicate face, lay on a breezy patch of grass, an Energy Root dangling from his mouth.

Though referred to as a young man, he looked every bit like a beautiful woman intimately communing with nature.

The bitter taste of the Energy Root in the young man's mouth bloomed on his tongue, his orange eyes observing the surrounding environment, constantly reminding him that everything happening now was real.

This was Yu Feng back then. After he recovered, he realized that the green humanoid creature was the Gardevoir he had loved but couldn't have.

He didn't know how, but he had transmigrated into the world of Pokémon, and based on his observations from childhood, he seemed to have been a Ralts, and a Shiny Ralts at that!

What did this mean? Did he not get his waifu-Pokémon, so he became a waifu-Pokémon himself? And was his father in this world really that brave, having achieved the accomplishment most players only dream of?

Yu Feng didn't understand, but that couldn't stop his good mood. Although he didn't know if he was in a manga, game, or anime world.

The latter would be fine; even with many ambitious individuals, at least Ash was there to take the brunt. But if it was the former two, he might as well just live a good life with his family in the forest.

He didn't think too much, the bitterness of the Energy Root brought him back to reality. A gentle breeze brushed his face, and from time to time, Cutiefly and Ribombee would roll pollen into balls, wanting to feed him.

A Comfey quietly landed on his head, and seeing no reaction from him, it happily wiggled about.

Around him, a few Hatenna, Ralts, Gothita, and a female Indeedee resembling a maid lay scattered.

A pale white Milcery and a Flabébé were playing nearby.

A Petilil and a Bounsweet huddled together, watching a Fomantis shiver.

Yu Feng stroked a light pink Shiny Hatenna, his face full of doting affection.

"Moo."

The Shiny Hatenna let out a very comfortable cry, and couldn't help but rub against Yu Feng's hand.

"Kirlia!"

Suddenly, a Shiny Kirlia with the same hair color as Yu Feng appeared on him.

The Shiny Kirlia sat on Yu Feng in a duck-sitting position and immediately saw the Shiny Hatenna interacting with him.

She angrily hit the boy's body with her small hands, saying something as she hit him.

"Kirlia!"

"Kirlia!"

As if not satisfied, she quickly struck the boy's chest with both hands.

"Alright, alright, did Mom call you over for something?"

Yu Feng smiled, watching the Shiny Kirlia happily hitting him. Despite her enthusiastic hitting, it was all just for show; she wasn't using any real force.

Once the Shiny Kirlia had vented enough, Yu Feng lifted her into the air and said with a smile.

After all, ever since she evolved into Kirlia, his sister hadn't come to see him much. Her coming now clearly meant Mom needed him.

"Kirlia! (A Feng, you pervert!)"

Unexpectedly, Yu Feng lifted her up. Kirlia's small face turned red, and her feet instinctively wrapped with Ice-type energy, stomping down towards the young man's face.

"Good heavens, is this how you're supposed to use Triple Axel? And where did you learn that move?"

Feeling the power of that kick, Yu Feng's eyes burst with blue light, representing psychic energy, and he forcibly stopped the Shiny Kirlia's feet at the tip of his nose.

Looking at the Shiny Kirlia's 'jade feet' wrapped in ice, Yu Feng instinctively swallowed.

If he got hit by that, he'd be bedridden for at least half a day, right?

That's right, although Yu Feng had a human appearance, he still possessed the physique of a Pokémon and could learn various moves.

For example, he had mastered 'Triple Punch,' though due to his low level, he could only use it a few times before getting exhausted. But being able to use it was enough!

"Mom must be getting impatient, let's go over there first."

Placing the Shiny Kirlia on the ground, Yu Feng left a word and vanished from her sight.

The Shiny Kirlia, with nowhere to vent her anger, stomped the ground three times with her ice-wrapped feet. Then, after glaring fiercely at the Shiny Milcery and Shiny Hatenna, she also disappeared from their sight using Teleport.

Only the Shiny Hatenna and her companions were left, huddled together, trembling as they looked at the deep crater in the ground.

Inside the treehouse, a very gentle and virtuous Gardevoir was humming a song while folding a piece of clothing, neatly placing it into a sky-blue backpack.

As if knowing something, she looked towards the seat next to the table.

Yu Feng instantly appeared in the chair, picked up the cup on the table, and drank it all in one gulp, then let out a long sigh.

"Gardevoir? (Where's your sister?)"

Gardevoir looked at Yu Feng, who had returned alone, a little curious. Hadn't she asked his sister to call him?

How had he returned alone after such a short while?

"Oh, she's behind me."

"Mom, what are you doing?"

Yu Feng waved his hand, indicating that she was behind and hadn't caught up yet. Then, seeing the backpack on the table, he curiously asked what was happening.

"Kirlia! (Damn it, big brother, where do you think you're going?)"

Before Gardevoir could answer, the Shiny Kirlia appeared like a facehugger, embracing Yu Feng's face and swinging from side to side.

"Gardevoir. (Alright, alright, your brother is about to leave. You won't be seeing him for a while.)"

Gardevoir separated the two bickering children and gently smoothed Yu Feng's messy hair back into place.

"Kirlia?"

"Huh?"

"Gardevoir?"

Three voices rang out from different directions, and Yu Feng and the others' gaze instantly focused on the source of the last voice.

A petite Gardevoir was propped up on the roof of their house, hands and feet spread apart. Judging by the beads of sweat she had sealed with her Confusion, she had been up there for quite a while.

"Auntie, why are you up there?"

Yu Feng felt it was incredible. After all, none of their family of three had discovered her. How did his aunt manage to hide?

"Gardevoir! (Never mind that, sister, what do you mean Yu Feng is leaving?)"

The petite Gardevoir looked at her sister with disbelief. When did her little nephew decide to go out?

"Gardevoir. (His father was this age when he traveled with me. Thinking back, I really miss it.)"

Gardevoir covered her slightly flushed cheeks, reminiscing about the time she traveled with her Trainer.

"Gardevoir! (Alright, shut up, don't say any more! It's too sappy.)"

Seeing Gardevoir bring up her Trainer the moment she opened her mouth, the petite Gardevoir rubbed her arms. It was true; for years, every conversation she had would inevitably mention her Trainer.

Their ears were practically calloused from hearing it.

"Gardevoir? (So you're willing to let him go out?)"

However, the petite Gardevoir expressed doubt about her letting her precious son go out, as she was known to spoil him rotten.

"Gardevoir. (Yes, I want him to be the best Trainer, just like his father!)"

Gardevoir clasped her hands together over her chest, expressing her hopes. Of course, what her son thought was no longer within her jurisdiction.
