No matter what, no matter who is sacrificed, no matter who is offered, as long as the Western Paradise can be preserved, as long as the Journey to the West can be preserved, everything is worth it.
As for who that person is, how much contribution they have made to the Western Paradise, how important they are to the Western Paradise, it doesn't matter.
However, Maitreya Buddha panicked.
He had only told Medicine Buddha and Bodhisattva Skanda about his plan to attack Chu Hao.
Medicine Buddha was one of the few people he could trust in the Western Paradise. Back then, Medicine Buddha was implicated due to a mistake in evangelism by his subordinate, expelling a disciple, and even Medicine Buddha was to be punished. Maitreya Buddha stood up to speak for Medicine Buddha.

At this moment, Maitreya Buddha was struck by lightning, staring blankly at Medicine Buddha, his face full of disbelief.
"Medicine Buddha, how dare you betray me! Why did you betray me!"
Maitreya Buddha's anxiety made the three thousand Buddhas present reveal a knowing look on their faces.
It seemed that Chu Hao was right, this Maitreya Buddha wanted to take the opportunity to establish his prestige and accelerate his ascension.
It's a pity that the strongman he sent was not good enough, did not meet the standard, and his allies did not seem to be so firm.
Medicine Buddha, adhering to the principle of adding insult to injury and helping people all the way, continued to speak:
"A few days ago, Maitreya Buddha came to my Eastern Pure Land of Lapis Lazuli, wanting me to cooperate in assassinating the wife of the Prison God, in order to anger the Prison God and take the opportunity to kill the Prison God."
"A monk is compassionate, so I naturally refused on the spot. Who would have thought that Maitreya Buddha would go to Bodhisattva Skanda, using both kindness and power, to order Bodhisattva Skanda to assassinate the Prison God."
"Unexpectedly, Bodhisattva Skanda passed away. He should have wanted to subdue demons and eliminate evil, but he died under Maitreya Buddha's selfish desires. The world is unpredictable, how sad and lamentable."
"Amitabha…"
Medicine Buddha recited a Buddha's name, then lowered his head, emitting a compassionate Buddha's light, chanting Buddhist scriptures to transcend Bodhisattva Skanda.
The endless Buddha's light of the three thousand Buddhas excluded Maitreya Buddha, as if Maitreya Buddha had been abandoned by the Buddha's light.
Obviously, Medicine Buddha had already made up his mind to sell out Maitreya Buddha!
Maitreya Buddha laughed angrily, with a look of madness on his face, "Good, good, good! Medicine Buddha, I misjudged you, you villain, all villains!"
"Evil creature, shut up!"
Buddha Tathagata frowned and waved a Buddha's light.
Suppressing Maitreya Buddha.
Maitreya Buddha wanted to struggle to get up, but the three thousand Buddhas shot together, the combined suppression from countless powerhouses, even if Maitreya Buddha was a great power of the world, he could only be pressed to the ground, unable to move.
Buddha Tathagata's face was calm, his eyes slightly closed, and he coldly announced:
"The truth has come out, Maitreya Buddha uses his power for personal gain, with selfish desires, attempting to kill God, disregarding compassion, his sins are heavy!"
"I have decided to take back his position as Future Buddha!"
"And punish him severely, bearing hundreds of millions of karmic debts, leading hundreds of millions of Buddhist soldiers to suppress the riots of the demons in the South China Sea, unchanged for hundreds of millions of years!"
This punishment can be said to be very heavy.
You must know that Maitreya Buddha is the Future Buddha, a quasi-sage great power, the second in command of the Western Paradise!
But now, in order to quell Chu Hao's anger, Buddha Tathagata actually took back Maitreya Buddha's position as second in command.
Even more, he would have Maitreya Buddha bear hundreds of millions of karmic debts, lead hundreds of millions of Buddhist soldiers, and suppress the South China Sea for hundreds of millions of years.
The karmic debt of ten thousand people has not been washed away by Bodhisattva Guanyin until now, and hundreds of millions of karmic debts are even more terrifying.
Moreover, he would be exiled from the lofty position of Future Buddha to the uninhabited, spiritually scarce mortal world, and squat in the corner of the South China Sea for hundreds of millions of years.
This is an extremely humiliating and extremely serious punishment for any Buddha!

However, in fact, Buddha Tathagata only felt that what he did was not excessive at all.
After all, Maitreya Buddha had repeatedly disobeyed orders and angered himself before, which was the reason why Maitreya Buddha was severely punished.
As the Buddha Tathagata of the Western Paradise, what he wants is unchanging stability, a controllable stability.
And Maitreya Buddha has become an uncertain number, whether it is for the current Journey to the West or the next kalpa, Maitreya Buddha poses a threat.
Within such a rigorous and meticulous structure, no one is allowed to overstep, and no one is allowed to break free from control, not even himself!
This is Buddha Tathagata's way of the Buddha!
Buddha Tathagata had already deeply understood this way, so he would make such a heavy judgment.
Buddha Tathagata looked at Maitreya Buddha indifferently, without a trace of pity in his eyes, just like looking at those believers who had been kneeling for thousands of years,
"Maitreya Buddha, your thoughts are impure, evil thoughts are growing, suppressing the South China Sea is to make you behave yourself, cultivate goodness, cleanse your mind, and not harm life again, so that you can return to my Western Paradise in the future."
Buddha Tathagata's words are exactly the same as when Bodhisattva Guanyin enlightened and recruited Sha Seng, Zhu Ganglie and others.
This is the official language of the Buddha.
Maitreya Buddha's face was full of unwillingness, and he was already so angry that he laughed instead,
"Buddha, what crime do I have! All my actions are for the Western Paradise, how can there be any selfish desires!"
"That Prison God Chu Hao is an anomaly in the Three Realms. If he is not killed, my Western Paradise will not be peaceful!"
"I killed this fellow because this fellow deserves to be killed. He is blocking the great development of my Western Paradise. I swear, I have no selfish motives at all. What crime do I have!!!"
Buddha Tathagata said coldly:
"The evidence is conclusive, you disregard compassion! You are cruel and merciless, how can you be a Buddha?"
Buddha Tathagata actually said it very clearly.
Maitreya Buddha's methods are still not on the table after all. If he could kill Chu Hao, Buddha Tathagata would now reward Maitreya Buddha.
Buddha Tathagata did not remember that Maitreya Buddha's approach was no different from his own at the time.
And the three thousand Buddhas, watching from the sidelines, high above, with indifferent eyes, chanting Buddha's names, everything was full of the unique atmosphere of the Western Paradise.
