Uchiha Yukio had just happily sent his son to the Ninja Academy, and then went to buy some groceries, planning to celebrate properly that evening.
But who knew, as soon as he returned home, he saw his son sitting at the doorstep.
He asked with a bewildered look, “Aren’t you supposed to be in class at the Academy? Why are you back so soon?”
Uchiha Mukaku, however, responded indifferently, “The Ninja Academy Teacher told you to come to the Academy; he said he wants to discuss my education!”
Uchiha Yukio helplessly raised a hand to his forehead, then sat beside his son and asked, “What exactly happened? Tell me quickly!”
After his son finished explaining the whole story, Uchiha Yukio handed the groceries he had bought to his son and said, “You go inside first; I’ll go to the Academy to resolve this!”
Looking at his old father’s receding back, Uchiha Mukaku, who had already braced himself for a scolding, couldn’t help but be a little surprised, and then he burst into happy laughter.
When Uchiha Yukio arrived at the Ninja Academy, the one waiting for him there was not the Ninja Academy Teacher, but Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Although the person waiting for him was somewhat unexpected, Uchiha Yukio showed no fear at all; he had confidence in his son, believing he would never distort the truth.
Seeing Uchiha Yukio, Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi showed a gentle smile on his face and said, “Yukio, you’ve raised this child very well.
Although some of his actions were not entirely appropriate, his intentions were certainly very correct.”
“Hokage-sama, you flatter me!” Uchiha Yukio responded happily to Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi’s praise.
“It’s good that Mukaku is attending the Ninja Academy.
I hope this child can become a bridge for communication between the Uchiha Clan and the Village in the future,” Hiruzen Sarutobi stated his purpose after a brief exchange of pleasantries.
Uchiha Yukio only wanted his son to make more friends by attending the Academy; he wasn’t interested in him becoming a bridge between the Uchiha Clan and the Village at all.
Despite his thoughts, Uchiha Yukio respectfully replied, “Yes!” due to the Hokage’s status.
After their conversation, Hiruzen Sarutobi didn’t mention any disciplinary action for his son, and Uchiha Yukio naturally didn’t want to ask, turning instead to go home.
The next day, when Uchiha Mukaku went to the Academy, he suddenly noticed a notice posted outside, listing the successful supplementary enrollment candidates: Kosugi Bosui, Togakure Hideshi, and Might Guy.
This surprised him a bit; he hadn’t expected that Might Guy wouldn’t be the only one admitted through supplementary enrollment, but that there would be others as well.
However, when he entered the classroom, he encountered his own problem: everyone looked at him with fearful eyes.
It seemed yesterday’s incident had significantly impacted his reputation.
Uchiha Mukaku, however, didn’t care about this at all.
Having awakened memories from his previous life, he couldn’t relate to these little kids.
Without speaking, Uchiha Mukaku went to the back of the tiered classroom, found an empty spot, and sat down steadily, waiting for the class bell to ring.
Just then, a commotion broke out at the front, and Uchiha looked over at the sound, only to see a lovely young boy walk in.
He had a head of silver hair, which fell smoothly over his head, shimmering faintly under the classroom sunlight filtering through the glass, as if it were silver threads covered in ice and snow.
His skin was fair and flawless, made even fairer by the black mask.
This dashing and mysterious boy immediately drew gasps of admiration from his classmates upon entering the classroom.
Uchiha Mukaku subtly raised an eyebrow, his gaze falling on the other party’s striking silver hair and unique attire.
He instantly knew the identity of the person before him.
That’s right, this guy must be the young Kakashi Hatake, and also his best stepping stone towards the name of “genius.”
As if sensing the unfriendly gaze, Kakashi Hatake looked up and saw a pair of eyes.
Those eyes held scrutiny, mixed with a hint of playfulness.
Uchiha Mukaku was sitting with his legs crossed, one elbow resting lazily on the back of the chair, looking at him with a condescending posture.
Kakashi Hatake naturally knew this person; he was the notorious troublemaker who had taken on ten opponents on the first day of school and become famous in the Ninja Academy.
Anyone would feel uncomfortable being stared at so brazenly, and Kakashi was no exception.
He couldn’t help but frown slightly, his expression showing displeasure.
However, Kakashi was, after all, a sensible and reasonable child; his good upbringing prevented him from doing anything out of line.
He simply gave Uchiha Mukaku a deep look and then silently found a seat.
Uchiha Mukaku also did not continue to provoke him.
After all, Kakashi Hatake had not yet displayed his strength, nor was he the well-known genius.
Even if he were to defeat him openly now, it wouldn’t earn him the title of “genius,” and he had no desire to engage in such useless endeavors.
Since it was the first day of enrollment, there was a fixed activity of taking photographs before class.
Led by the teacher, the students gathered on the playground.
Once everyone was lined up as required, the teacher began calling names.
“Ebisu!”
“Here!”
“Kakashi Hatake!”
“Here!”
“Morino Ibiki!”
“Here!”
...
“Uchiha Obito!” the teacher called out the name loudly, but no one responded.
So, the teacher raised his voice and called again, “Uchiha Obito~!”
At this moment, a voice came from a distance: “I’m here!”
Everyone looked over to see a young boy wearing yellow goggles, dressed in a tracksuit with the Uchiha Clan crest on it, running over breathlessly while loudly answering.
The teacher glanced at the late Uchiha Obito and said sternly, “Don’t be late next time!”
“Yes!” Uchiha Obito stood obediently, his body tense as he responded.
Looking at this slightly flustered young boy, Uchiha Mukaku couldn’t help but feel a bit speechless.
Who would have thought that the person who would become a major villain in the Ninja World in the future was now such an unpromising sight?
Fate, indeed, is full of amusement.
After taking the enrollment photos, the teacher led the students back to the classroom, and the fixed self-introduction segment immediately began.
Following the seating order, the first child to stand up had his head tightly wrapped in bandages, so much so that even his eyes were completely covered.
He spoke with a slight nervousness:
“My name is Hibiki Tombo, and my dream is to become the Hokage of Konoha Ninja Village!”
