Chapter 10: Two months later

Li Su opened the villa's main door, preparing to reside here permanently after a two-month absence.

Recalling the gains of the past two months, Li Su felt a wave of satisfaction; he had almost all the daily necessities.

Vegetables, fruits, rice, flour, grains, oils, clothes for all seasons, daily essentials, prepared meals, various ingredients, and specialties from every province—enough for ten people to live for a hundred years.

From now on, he would no longer have to worry about these trivial matters.

Li Su looked at the three-story villa, approximately a thousand square meters, which was currently covered in dust.

He activated his Perception Domain to its maximum, and Nenri surged, gathering the dust from every room towards the center, where all the furniture and items converged into several spheres of varying sizes.

These spheres suddenly vanished from the rooms, then reappeared on a garbage pile 500 meters away.

The villa was now completely refreshed, and Li Su nodded in satisfaction; his control had strengthened.

He chose a pleasing room for the master bedroom and began arranging his usual furniture.

After more than ten minutes of effort, the house had transformed into exactly what Li Su desired. As for utilities like water and electricity, they were unnecessary thanks to the existence of his storage space.

Li Su looked out at the garden, which was filled with flowers and plants both front and back, and his brow furrowed.

All the plants were uprooted, gathered towards the center, forming a spherical plant mass. Li Su pointed forward, and the sphere immediately shot away, vanishing from sight.

Li Su nodded in satisfaction. The front and back gardens should be filled with stones of various sizes for practicality.

Counting the time, more than five months had passed, and he could traverse again in just over seven months.

For the remaining time, he only planned to do three things: collect stones, create kinetic weapons, and study medical knowledge.

In future traversals to ancient worlds, he would also need to study traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture points, and if given the chance, learn Taoist and Buddhist scriptures, at least to the point of understanding them, as a lack of knowledge might prevent him from going too far.

Over the next seven months, Li Su frequently went out to search for stones, and upon returning home, he would fly into the sky at midnight to craft powerful kinetic weapons.

Aside from studying medical and biological knowledge, he spent his remaining time by the lake, manipulating water currents.

He transformed the water into flowers, birds, fish, insects, flying creatures, walking beasts, mountains, rivers, or even different human figures.

From an initial blob, after seven months, he could barely distinguish male and female faces.

Through this kind of intricate manipulation, he could now simultaneously control six flying swords as if they were extensions of his own arms.

The radius of his Perception Domain also reached 2000 meters a month ago, giving him a faint feeling that this might be his limit.

Because his Nenri had not increased at all this past month, Li Su remained undiscouraged.

He was now in his twenties, traversing once a year; as long as he didn't die, he would eventually encounter items that could extend his lifespan.

He was a person who loved to travel; the myriad worlds held too many wonderful things, and without sufficient lifespan and strength, those things would not belong to him.

He possessed a storage space whose size he had yet to ascertain, but so far, it only contained ordinary items.

Various rare treasures, divine weapons, and the like, found during his future travels, could serve as his collectibles.

Li Su glanced at the sky. The bright moon hung high, and stars filled the heavens; tomorrow would surely be a clear day.

With a thought, he took out a small black boat, then mentally reviewed his preparations, finding that he had almost everything he could possibly need.

Then, he spoke a single word, "Traverse," to the small boat in his hand. Like a voice-activated light, the boat immediately reacted, drawing Li Su inside.

After a moment of disorientation, Li Su opened his eyes to a scene of utter darkness, devoid of any light.

Li Su closed his eyes and released his Perception Domain, only then seeing his surroundings clearly. It was a primeval forest with towering ancient trees, completely silent, and the ground was covered in withered, yellow fallen leaves.

Within a two-thousand-meter radius, most of the trees had lost their leaves, and the few green trees that remained had dark green foliage.

Li Su activated his Nenri Barrier, and immediately a chill assailed him, making him shiver. It was likely late autumn.

He quickly changed into autumn clothes, which finally brought warmth, and then promptly reinforced his Nenri Barrier.

The Nenri Barrier was an upgraded version of the Nenri Shield, with significantly enhanced defense and duration.

After doing this, Li Su slowly ascended. The surroundings were pitch black, with no light visible. Looking up, he only saw a few dark clouds; tomorrow's weather might not be good.

Li Su slowly descended. With the current situation unclear, he dared not fly recklessly. If there were powerful demons in this world, he might be instantly killed. It was better to wait until dawn to assess the situation.

Li Su circled the area and found a thick, sturdy tree. He took out a custom-made broadsword weighing over 300 catties (approx. 150 kg).

At the same time, he activated his Nenri Barrier to prevent sound from escaping.

The broadsword cleaved down fiercely, splitting off a tenth of the tree trunk cleanly.

He then took out six short axes, which spun rapidly and rushed towards the tree, allowing the six axes to alternately chop at it.

When the sawdust stopped flying, there was already a space in the center of the tree barely large enough for one person, just right for Li Su to sit inside the tree hollow.

He condensed the sawdust into a sphere, stored it in his space, and then controlled the tree bark to perfectly block the opening.

Li Su hid inside the tree, casually erasing any trace of his presence. He entered a state of bunk inside, waiting for dawn.

Even inside the tree hollow, Li Su still felt unsafe. With a thought, a large pile of boulders appeared, protecting the lower half of the tree.

Only then did he feel a sense of security, allowing him to sleep soundly.
