Chapter 8: [8] Terrible battle, Harak's upgraded dark matter

The ink-like darkness gradually swallowed the entire Wizard Ship, and the red carpet seemed to lose its original color, gradually turning grayish-white and then pitch black.

When this astonishingly pervasive and active darkness crept over the red wooden door,

the lit candle in the captain's cabin flickered even more faintly.

The figure on the sofa had been sitting there for an unknown amount of time, subtly covered in dust.

Pfft!

One by one, the candles extinguished. Tuta the Wizard finally opened his cloudy eyes, staring at a certain outline in the darkness before him.

A powerful aura erupted suddenly, and as his robes billowed, his slightly hunched figure now seemed even grander than a mountain.

Invisible pressure turned everything to dust, whether it was the sofa, the walls, the ceiling, or the sticky, ink-like darkness attempting to entangle itself.

The particle energy flowing through his limbs and bones manifested in reality. How powerful was this particle energy, transforming into a surging Underworld-colored light wave that spread in all directions, announcing his existence.

Tuta the Wizard had an undeniable presence; even in a crowd, he would be the first one noticed.

It was as if he were the center of the world.

With every step he took, within the solidified darkness, Transcendent Creatures that had been specially modified and were tens or hundreds of times stronger than Thorn Sea Beasts were all reduced to dust and vanished into thin air.

He continued until he emerged from the red carpeted corridor onto the deck.

The darkness could not approach within ten meters of Tuta the Wizard. Underworld-colored particle energy, like an exotic blooming flame, formed a lotus shape, exceptionally beautiful.

A bony right hand, like a withered bamboo pole, extended from beneath his robe, gripping a white, grim bone staff.

As a continuous stream of particle energy was injected into it, the bone staff grew from its original few tens of centimeters to a height of 150 centimeters, reaching the ground.

His hood was pulled back, revealing an old man's scarred, wrinkled face, surprisingly devoid of any signs of decay. Instead, it carried a fierce, almost world-shattering power.

It was soaring and exhilarating, reminding one of the most passionate and peak moments of youth.

In the deep sea surrounding the Wizard Ship, more darkness surged forth, accompanied by a flickering, indistinct presence emerging from the shadows. All this darkness gathered in its hand, forming a dark singularity spanning twenty meters.

A powerful suction erupted from within it, threatening to pull the entire Wizard Ship into it, reducing it to crumbling fragments.

Tuta the Wizard finally recognized it, and his pupils constricted, his expression somewhat surprised. “Heart of the Underworld Wizardry, so that’s it.”

The other party did not reply, but instead hurled the dark singularity formed by that Wizardry towards Tuta the Wizard.

If no measures were taken to stop it, the powerful particle energy contained within would engulf the entire Wizard Ship along with a fifty-meter radius around it, its power extremely terrifying.

If a Formal Wizard were to cast it, the affected range would reach approximately one hundred to two hundred meters.

Tuta the Wizard's eyes darkened. He struck the deck heavily with his white, grim bone staff. With his feet as the center, a large amount of mental energy and particle energy began to be consumed, and numerous Wizard Runes in his mind were activated.

Dark elemental particles began to gather around his body. In just a blink of an eye, the invisible and formless particle energy fully utilized its particle characteristics, transforming into a tangible, blooming Underworld-colored fifty-meter lotus.

Each petal was lifelike, enveloping the entire Wizard Ship. Then, the black singularity was enveloped by this lotus, and the powerful suction had no effect on the lotus.

Tuta the Wizard's figure had disappeared. When he reappeared, he was already in front of the figure floating in the void.

Powerful Wizardry bloomed in his hand, forming an Underworld-colored longsword. The highly condensed dark elemental particles possessed three properties: corrosion, erosion, and toxicity.

The figure's pupils constricted, a look of horror on its face. It clearly hadn't expected Tuta the Wizard to possess such combat strength.

“They all said you were old and dying, but I didn’t expect…”

“Old and dying doesn’t mean I can’t walk.”

Tuta the Wizard sneered, unhesitatingly swinging the Wizardry longsword in his hand. Then, he unleashed various low-level and mid-level Wizardry spells as if they cost nothing.

The other party also engaged Tuta the Wizard in battle, the fight fierce, with deadly moves at every turn.

The surrounding sea area was gradually affected by the particle energy and high-concentration radiation released by the two, causing a large number of marine creatures to float dead on the surface of the water.

For powerful Wizards, if you are a mortal or a Wizard whose strength is too weak, you do not even have the right to observe the battle.

There is a very high probability that you will die due to excessive energy radiation and large-scale tissue necrosis from observing the battle.

Fortunately, the Wizard Ship itself has radiation isolation devices.

Wang Ya had not yet discovered the terrifying battle outside; he was currently holding his breath due to the Eye of Truth's analysis results.

But it was useless. The fellow in the corridor outside wasn't a zombie; he didn't rely on heat for perception, but on scent.

The dagger in his hand glowed blue, clearly indicating it was highly poisonous.

Under his conscious influence, Harak stood like a statue on the other side of the door.

Boom!

The door was crashed open. This Thorn Sea Beast, with its low intelligence, wouldn't play any tricks like stealth or hiding. It would only use the most brutal method to drag the Wizard Newcomer out of the room, bite him to death, and eat him.

The blue-glowing dagger appeared in its almond-shaped eye socket at that moment.

The analysis and calculation from the Eye of Truth could present a three-dimensional projection, materializing everything within five meters outside.

So, Wang Ya’s stab was very accurate.

Intense pain and the deprivation of sight made it howl, struggling and rolling in the room.

Harak flapped its wings. Its steel-like feathers showed no fear of the bone spurs on the Thorn Sea Beast's body. Its sharp claws suddenly gripped its spine.

Along with a 'crack' sound,

deprived of spinal support, the Thorn Sea Beast could only thrash occasionally like a lobster on a cutting board.

The final outcome was undoubtedly that the Thorn Sea Beast, its head crushed by Harak's iron claws, lost its breath.

The ferocious bone spurs on its spine were considered the Thorn Sea Beast's strongest offensive method, but also its most fatal weakness.

Wang Ya breathed a sigh of relief and closed the shattered door, even though a large gap remained in the middle.

“This Thorn Sea Beast is a bit too big, isn’t it?”

Logically, its scale color and size shouldn't be like this.

【Alert: Thorn Sea Beast heart detected, containing Transcendent material, capable of benign mutation in Transcendent Creatures and ordinary creatures.】

Wang Ya's eyes immediately lit up.
