Chapter 6: Rain of Fire

Li Su, like the two people in front of him, leaned back in his seat for a nap.

A series of gunshots startled Li Su awake from his sleep. Opening his eyes, he saw a large flock of zombie crows outside the window.

"Caw caw caw caw..."

Li Su drew his gun and, like the two in front, assumed a fighting stance. He casually said, "Are you two awake? You were really sound asleep."

Both were terrified by the scene outside and had no time to think about what had just happened, only feeling a large bump on their heads.

Li Su released his psychic power, raising yellow sand at the edge of his domain, instantly engulfing three crows that had just flown over.

The yellow sand spun rapidly, converging towards the center. After more than ten seconds, the black sand dispersed, leaving only a few bone fragments and bird beaks on the ground.

Li Su now had a clear understanding. Whether by directly crushing them or grinding them with yellow sand, he could easily eliminate this flock of crows.

Indeed, the most dangerous thing for him was someone attacking him from behind with firearms.

This problem was also easy to solve: travel alone and kill everyone he encountered.

The two white men in the front of the car, one was busy trying to start the car and leave, the other wanted to operate the flamethrower to kill the crows.

Li Su looked at the two terrified men, wondering if they would flip the car!

This car contained a large amount of fuel; if it overturned, he would also be in danger.

Li Su used his psychic power to firmly fix the car in place, while also observing the situation outside.

Everyone was in a frenzy, some shooting at the crows in the sky, others only caring about fleeing in all directions.

Some people were surrounded by crows, being pecked at, their flesh and blood torn away.

Li Su took out his pistol, opened a crack in the car window, and fired outwards.

Although he was a slacker, he couldn't let others know he was a slacker.

Bang bang bang bang...

"Help! I don't want to die! Please help me!"

Gunshots, cries for help, and the roar of engines continuously rang out.

Li Su emptied three magazines, and several more people were pecked to death by the crows.

Just as Carlos and a woman were about to be surrounded by crows, Alice finally arrived.

A surge of violent psychic power controlled the flames, emptying the fuel from the compressed tank, and enveloping the sky with the fuel.

The flames spread along the fuel into the sky, burning for a full ten seconds before slowly extinguishing. Charred crows continuously fell from the sky.

Alice's body went limp, about to faint. Li Su, one step ahead of Carlos, stepped forward and embraced Alice, who was on the verge of collapsing.

Looking at Alice's pained expression in his arms, he couldn't help but ask, "Is that all?"

Carlos, with his hand half-extended, looked at Li Su and said, "There should still be some stragglers who haven't been eliminated. We need to leave here quickly."

The entire convoy quickly fled, then returned three hours later to deal with the bodies of the dead.

Li Su still gave up on treating Alice as a collectible; he felt she was still somewhat lacking.

Everyone looked at Alice with awe, while Alice looked as if she had been screwing in bolts for two days and two nights straight in a factory, completely exhausted.

Li Su also glanced at Alice, then joined the others in digging pits to bury the bodies, deep in thought.

Her psychic power was very ordinary, but her body was incredibly strong; he felt she could easily beat him ten times with her bare hands.

Li Su had a bold idea in his mind.

But the terrifying appearance of the zombies made him abandon this thought. He figured there must be other ways to strengthen his body; using a virus to strengthen himself felt like seeking death.

After burying the bodies and joining everyone in a simple farewell for these people, the faces of those around were filled with sorrow.

Li Su, caught in the middle, couldn't feel sad at all, even feeling a bit like laughing. He had known these people for less than a day and didn't even know their names.

After bidding farewell to the bodies of several people, everyone returned to the convoy.

The leader, Claire, gathered everyone and began her passionate speech.

The general message was for everyone to go to Alaska, where there might be humanity's last pure land.

Li Su traveled with everyone for two days before arriving at a City half-submerged in yellow sand.

After fighting these zombies with them, he would leave. He had experienced the life of a doomsday survivor, and it was time to move on.

Li Su sat with a group of children and casually said, "Actually, I also have superpowers."

The little boy beside him looked bewildered, "You're lying! When the zombie crows attacked, you were hiding in the car just like us."

Another child interjected, "Yeah, I saw it! You only came out after the zombie crows were eliminated."

A series of gunshots rang out, indicating a battle ahead. The children didn't panic; they simply closed their mouths.

Li Su took out a handful of candy, placed it on the seat, and said, "This is my farewell gift to you. Goodbye."

Opening the car door and jumping out, Li Su held a short axe and walked towards the battlefield ahead.

Just as he arrived, he saw Alice throwing away her gun, drawing two knives, and slashing horizontally forward, then turning and slashing twice more, causing four zombie bodies to fall simultaneously.

Li Su witnessed this scene, staring at Alice and exclaiming, "What a powerful body, I'm truly envious."

He threw the axe in his hand forward. The axe spun rapidly, quickly passing through the lunging zombies.

Li Su activated his psychic shield to its maximum, guarding against bullet attacks, while also controlling the flying axe to wreak havoc on the field.

The zombies, which had been chasing everyone around, were all killed by the spinning axe.

The gunshots gradually ceased. Everyone looked at the spinning axe, then looked at Alice with awe.

Li Su pulled out his pistol and shot the black man who was about to turn into a zombie, saving the Gold-haired woman.

Having done all this, he turned and left; he had his own things to do.

Alice, though surprised at the moment, had more important things to do and rushed directly towards the nearby wall.

Li Su took out two wooden carvings, disguised himself as a large bird, and flew into the sky.

He randomly chose a direction in the high sky and proceeded. Next, he would find Cities, kill zombies, and collect supplies.

Li Su planned to study medical knowledge to lay the foundation for his future physical cultivation.
